Loss at the finals

The sound of the ball rolling on the field plays through out the stadium as the eyes of the entire stadium focuses on our main character Derek as he dribbles through the opposition and reaches outside the 18 yard box, with only him and the opposition keeper left and less than 20 seconds to the end of the finals with a 4-3 scoreline. Derek puts all his power into this shot sending the football flying straight through the air and penetrating the opponents net tieing the scoreline and sending the match in extra time.

As the referee blows the whistle the opposition begins passing the ball precisely to each other and dribbling pass Derek's team until Jake a midfielder in Derek's team steals the ball and starts dashing towards the opposition post as him and Derek coordinate an attack passing through the opposition until Jake reaches the opposition's post and two defenders begin marking him making him look at Derek's direction only to see him closely marked forcing him to blindly backheel the ball hoping for one of his teammates get the ball.

As the ball rolls back towards one of the opposition, Timothy suddenly steals the ball and begins a solo run towards the goal, swiftly dribbling pass opposition right before rainbow flicking the ball and delivering a spectacular volley causing the ball to spin uncontrollable as it approaches the post. Then the Keeper Dives towards the balls Direction and makes a finger tip save causing the ball to rebound and land right in front of Jake Who shoots the ball instantly. Unfortunately a defender uses his back to change direction of the ball sending it out for a corner, then everyone gathers into the 18 yard box waiting for a delivery.

As the ball flies through the air into the 18 several people jump up trying to either defend the ball or get a goal for their team then the Keeper Rushes out and punches the ball away therefore ending the first half of extra time in a deadlock.

Then the referee blows his whistle commencing the second half while the opposition begins defending against Derek's team as they try penetrating the tight Defense, then suddenly Derek, James and Timothy begin passing to each other as they use force and speed to run through the opposition with only the defenders in front of them and some seconds left on the clock Timothy passes the ball to Derek Who delivers a Power Shot straight at the bottom right corner as the ball flies with incredible speed towards towards the bottom corner the Keeper Dives and punches the ball out of the field again ending the second half of extra time with a deadlock sending them into a penalty shootout.

Then the first taker for Derek team stands in front of the ball and performs a workup before lightly touching the ball towards the left side of the post while the Keeper dive the other way giving them a lead with one to nil then your opposition first taker misses his chance thereby reducing the oppositions moral as the Shootout continues Derek's turn finally reaches then he does his work up and shoot to the ball at the post without aiming which makes the Keeper save the ball and gives his team new found moral while Derek holds his head in annoyance, as the shootout continues with the two teams in a draw until one of Derek's teammate misses his chance thus losing them the finals.
