The Egg was smoothly cruising through the solar system.
Willy-nilly, the crew had accepted the new passenger, and now, they all had to focus again on the travel that was just beginning.
Everyone was now back to his seat in the cockpit, except Gropius who hadn't one. He was just floating around.
Gropius, at some point, saw a sort of rock flying from right to left above the spaceship.
"We're arriving at the asteroid belt." explained Pebbles.
"Already?" asked Gropius, surprised. "This means that Mars is…"
"Already behind us, yes." confirmed Pebbles.
"Oh… And isn't it dangerous to cross the asteroid belt?"
"Not really." answered Ruby. "The asteroids are actually quite far away from one another. Most of the time kilometers away. So it's not such a big deal. We just have to keep an eye on the ball."
