Chapter 53 — An Angry Monster

The giant bug-like bull was charging straight at Milky. The distance that was still separating the boy from the upcoming fatal impact was shrinking terribly.

"Oh no! Don't stay there! Move!" Gropius, who had already run away, shouted desperately at the poor child.

But Eugene was frozen, almost hypnotized, and not knowing what to do.

He was about to get crushed.

And yet, all of a sudden, the child disappeared in front of the monster. Something had stormed on him and taken him away.

Eugene realized that he was now riding on Topi's back, running swiftly away from the danger. He felt a jolt of happiness and relief. Fluffy's lieutenant had been there to save him! But looking back at the beast, Milky realized something else. And this was terrible.

"Mr. Fox!"

His poor little astronaut fox toy was still lying on the floor, just about to get trampled by the furious beast.
