Chapter 3

After he bought what he needed, he quickly looked for a place to eat. When he found one, he started eating right away. While eating, he noticed the young man who had threatened him, still glaring sharply at him. But he chose to ignore it.

Minutes later, he finished eating, stood up, and approached the young woman. He paid her one thousand pesos and said, "I'll add this because I didn't pay you last night." Without looking at or acknowledging the young woman, he left. As he walked, he noticed the young man following him. Annoyed, he quickened his pace. When he saw that the young man could no longer keep up, he smiled.

He immediately searched for a place with no people around. Once he found one, he went there and flew up swiftly. From above, he looked down at the young man below. Due to the power of his eyes, he could see the young man even from such a high altitude.

Because of this, he could track every movement of the young man. He noticed that the young man was searching for him, which made him laugh. After a few hours, he saw the young man leave, so he followed him. He discovered where the young man lived, which made him smile. Knowing the young man's house, he left immediately. Once he was far enough away, he landed in a deserted place and bought oil and a lighter.

After purchasing these, a young woman suddenly approached him and immediately asked for his name. Annoyed, he ignored her and left. As he walked, he noticed that the young woman was following him. He quickened his pace further, but she managed to catch up and grab his hand, causing him to stop. He looked at her angrily and said, "What do you want?"

Upon hearing this, the young woman immediately smiled and said, "Why are you angry? I'm just asking for your name. By the way, my name is Mia." Upon hearing this, Cassian quickly replied, "I don't have a name, so let go of me." Mia was immediately irritated. She grabbed Cassian's hand tightly, and realizing this, Cassian struggled to break free.

Once he freed his hand from Mia's grasp, he ran away. After he had gotten a safe distance, he looked back and saw Mia staring at him intensely. He ignored her and continued on his way, searching for a place with no people. When he found one, he went there and, noticing that no one was around, flew up.

While flying, he ate bread for lunch. Hours later, as night fell, he prepared everything he needed and waited for everyone to fall asleep.

At half-past midnight, he saw the young man leave his house. Cassian laughed at the young man's nocturnal habits. After a few minutes, he saw the young man moving away, so he landed at the young man's house. He poured oil around the entire perimeter of the house and then set the oil on fire.

In just a few minutes, the fire spread, and he heard the screams of the young man's parents and siblings. Hearing this, he laughed maniacally, like a demon. The noise of his laughter and the screams from the burning house woke the people.

Seeing the people awake, Cassian quickly changed his appearance to that of an old man, donning a cloak and hood.

As the people emerged from their houses and saw the fire, they also heard the horrifying screams from those trapped inside. Men tried to approach the house to help, but as one of them came closer, a gunshot was heard, and they saw the man fall dead from a bullet to his forehead.

The people looked around for the source of the gunshot and saw a man in a cloak and hood flying. Upon seeing this, they recoiled in fear. Cassian, noticing their terror, laughed and fired his gun repeatedly while laughing. The people scattered, some running away, while others retreated into their homes.

Seeing some people going back into their houses, Cassian grabbed the remaining oil and poured it on the wooden houses. After pouring the oil, he set it on fire. The flames spread quickly, and he heard the numerous screams of people from each burning house, including the cries of the elderly, children, and infants. This made him laugh maniacally again, shooting at anyone trying to escape their burning homes.
