He could spam that sh*t at the cost of all his energy storage and 55% of the energy he had in his evolution stage!
From 975,000 Energy to less than 500,000, his strength dipped, and his size decreased appropriately. But without risks, how could one be expected to make it big in life??
The effects from using Tadpole Flash so many times was a transformation of his scary-looking spider body into a bright flash of green light!
If Astaroth didn't do this, then he never would've been able to gain enough speed to flash right into the exterior depository of one of the Trilobites!
In layman's terms, he shot straight up the butthole of the unsuspecting Trilobite!
Although a little nasty, or a lot 'a nasty... It was the only way Astaroth could think up to bypass the absurdly tough armor that encapsulated every inch of the Trilobites.
It was the only way!
Squelch. Squish. Squelch.
While digging around inside the intestines of the Lvl 5 Trilobite, Astaroth eventually made it to a spot that was just the right amount of tender.
From there, he started to spam |Claw Slash| and |Venom Split|, all until the damage reached a point where he could slide his slimy, black tendrils into the open wound.
It was no surprise what came thereafter…

One blink. Two blinks. Four blinks. Eight blinks. Twenty blinks.
It took a little more than twenty-two blinks for the entirety of the Lvl 5 Trilobite to be sucked into the stomach of the freakish hybrid slime!
Enlarging in size by more than four times what he once was, Astaroth let the pearlescent shimmering around his body calm down and disperse.
OOOM…!
After he successfully broke through to a Lvl 5 Bell Spider, the playing field between him and the other confused Trilobites suddenly became a lot more even…
"..."
Ignoring the dumbfounded critters for a second, Astaroth glanced off to the right, looking at all the incoming system notifications.
[Ding! You have absorbed 3,500,000 Energy from a Lvl 5 Trilobite!]
[Ding! You have received the Abilities: [Pincer Attack (Lvl 5)], [Chronic Fart (Lvl 4)], and [Hardened Armor (Lvl 5).]]
[Ding! All of these abilities come with their own alterations to the body, but they will only alter the host's body upon using the ability. This will stand true for all Abilities, unless they're passive racial alteration Abilities.]
"I understand the first and last abilities, but... what is that |Chronic Fart| Ability supposed to do…?" Astaroth asked awkwardly.
[Ding! |Chronic Fart| is something that the extremely ancient Trilobites use as a defense mechanism against unquestionably more powerful predators! In simpler terms, the ability causes the host to chronically sh*t himself and flee the scen-]
"No need to say anymore," Astaroth coughed to clear the air before putting his focus on the savage Trilobites that had just snapped out of their stupors and cleared up their eyesight.
"Time for the grind," he said coldly.
Click. Clack! Click. Clack!
It was obvious that the Trilobites were just as ready for battle as he was…
So it then commenced!
|Pincer Attack|
Using their own ability against them, Astaroth grew two pairs of wide, menacing pincers from his frontmost spiderlegs. He then used these pincers to chop a charging Lvl 5 Trilobite in half!

Silence.
A deafening hush fell over a tiny part of the icy cold pond, and it wasn't because a Bell Spider just ripped a Trilobite into two and absorbed both pieces with an unknown, black slime substance.
"The Infinite Energy System sure does know how to play games," Astaroth softly sighed before shaking his spider head and looking toward the last three Trilobites. His piercing glare seemed to peer into their very souls.
But seeing as they didn't have souls, they brushed off his scary look and foolishly lunged at him!
Click. Clack! Click. Clack!
They clacked their pincers together as they aimed to chop off the long legs of their prey.

Although the Trilobites were very good at using their pincers, Astaroth was simply better. After using the ability three times in repeated succession, he suddenly appeared on the other side of the Trilobites.
When the damage finally registered, the three Trilobites died on the spot as their bodies were squished into multiple deformed pieces. The blood inside their corpses flowed out into the water, causing a few distant creatures to approach the scene.

Using this ability, Astaroth absorbed the corpses of the three Trilobites.
While looking at the incoming system notifications, he also honed in on the approaching organisms.
