Chapter 224: Kurama, Can You Shut Up?

"Achoo!" Naruto sneezed loudly, looking around in confusion. "Kurama, I just felt a strange kind of malice, but I can't sense anyone around."

"I'm more curious how you managed to curse while sneezing?" Kurama was full of question marks.

"Huh?" Naruto didn't understand Chinese, so he had no idea what had just come out of his mouth.

Seeing Naruto's clueless expression, Kakashi, standing in front of him, couldn't help but roll his eyes.

Without a word, he picked up his copy of *Icha Icha Paradise* and smacked it on Naruto's head. "Focus. We're in the middle of training. Can't you be a little more serious like Sasuke?"

Naruto rubbed his head in pain, complaining, "How is Sasuke serious?"

"Isn't he training hard?" Kakashi pointed to Sasuke on the other side.

But instead of the hardworking Sasuke they expected, Sasuke had his eyes closed, as if sensing something. A moment later, he suddenly opened them, his expression tensed, and in the blink of an eye—poof!—he vanished in a cloud of smoke.

The next second, Sakura appeared, walking out of the forest with her special Soldier Pills.

Kakashi: "…"

"See? Told you," Naruto shrugged.

To be fair, it wasn't Sasuke's fault. The main problem was that Sakura's special Soldier Pills were… well, let's just say they were downright terrifying.

It was weird too—Sakura could actually cook pretty well, so why did her medicine taste so bad that even Kakashi, who always kept a straight face, almost choked after taking one? Akamaru would run away without hesitation at the sight of her, and even Kiba had to admit…

Yeah, not even dogs could handle it.

In the end, they all appreciated Sakura's enthusiasm, but those Soldier Pills? No thanks. Sure, they worked better than regular ones, but at least the normal ones wouldn't kill you.

As for Naruto… he didn't need them anyway.

Kakashi awkwardly pulled his hand back, coughed, and said, "Training your senses is also a form of training."

"But we came out here to train our chakra nature," Naruto said, looking betrayed. "Didn't we already figure out that I have wind chakra? So why is Sasuke faster than me? Isn't he fire and lightning?"

"Wind doesn't necessarily mean speed," Kakashi said, flipping his book open again. "Chakra nature doesn't define what kind of ninja you become—it just makes a certain path easier."

"For example, you have a strong Yang chakra nature, and the rest is wind. But you didn't become a medical ninja, did you?"

He flipped another page. "Sasuke has strong Yin chakra, with fire and lightning as his secondary natures, but he didn't become a Genjutsu specialist either."

Medical Ninjutsu required Yang chakra, while Genjutsu relied on Yin chakra.

"So chakra nature isn't everything," Kakashi concluded.

Then he looked at Naruto. "According to Kurama, if you want to take your Rasengan to the next level, you need to fuse it with your chakra nature. You've already learned to infuse it with sealing techniques and Tailed Beast power, which led to the creation of the Great Spiraling Wheel, so now you just need to add wind chakra to it."

"For someone who's already mastered the Wheel, that shouldn't be too hard, right?"

"Yeah, not hard at all," Kurama snickered. "Just got blown up a few hundred times, that's all."

The Great Spiraling Wheel was a technique Naruto had accidentally created during the Sage of Six Paths era. Unlike the usual Rasengan, its properties were different—it was actually closer to a Sage Art Rasengan.

By combining the sealing power of the Uzumaki bloodline's *Adamantine Sealing Chains* with the opposite force of Tailed Beast chakra, he had formed a Rasengan as powerful as a miniature planet.

Kurama had named it: *The Great Spiraling Wheel.*

After Naruto awakened the Six Paths power, his body's bloodline also awakened, allowing him to use Adamantine Sealing Chains. At the same time, Kurama was training in Six Paths power, and the two decided to test their strength together. But when they combined their power, their chakra accidentally fused, and a rough outline of the Great Rasengan appeared.

Then everything exploded. If the Sage of Six Paths hadn't been there, those two might have killed themselves.

Naruto thought Kurama's name for the technique sounded cool, so he decided to keep it.

Kurama was beyond shocked at the time.

Not willing to accept failure, Kurama encouraged Naruto to learn how to control the fusion. It took over two years for Naruto to barely manage it, and that was with the Sage of Six Paths helping. If they had tried to figure it out on their own, who knows how long it would have taken?

"Thanks for the gift, Old Man Six Paths. Amen." Kurama clasped his hands together and closed his eyes in prayer.

"That's the theory, anyway." Naruto ignored Kurama's antics, scratching the back of his head with a troubled look. "But I only managed to learn it with Grandpa Six Paths' help, so if you want me to do it again now… I have no idea how."

"That's why I'm here to help you," Kakashi sighed. "I specialize in Ninjutsu, so I have a solid understanding of both techniques and chakra natures. Tsunade-sama, on the other hand, is a Taijutsu ninja, and as Hokage, she's extremely busy.

Jiraiya-sama is also assisting her. So that leaves me as your teacher."

Naruto smacked his lips and kept quiet.

At that moment, Sakura approached them with a questioning look. "Where's Sasuke?"

"I know! He's over by the rocks!" Kurama shouted in Naruto's mind.

"He ran off." Naruto pointed in a direction. "He's hiding over there. Yeah, right behind that rock."

Behind the rock, Sasuke's face changed drastically. He cursed Naruto under his breath and vanished in an instant, escaping from Sakura as if his life depended on it.

Sakura glanced at the rock, sighed, and said, "Sasuke's already gone, huh?"

"Yeah." Naruto nodded.

"Jeez… In that case, let's call it a day." She sighed again, then held out a basket to Naruto.

"Naruto, run!" Kurama looked horrified.

Naruto froze for a moment when he saw the basket, then his face changed. He quickly waved his hands. "I have plenty of chakra! I don't need a Soldier Pill to recover!"

Kakashi silently took a step back.

A vein popped on Sakura's forehead.

But she held back her anger, gripping the basket's handle tightly as she gritted her teeth. "These are not Soldier Pills! It's a lunch I made for you guys! Kakashi-sensei has a portion too!"

Oh? Kakashi silently stepped forward again.

To be fair, Sakura's cooking smelled really good—better than Ichiraku Ramen. Mostly because Naruto had dragged him there so many times that he was getting tired of ramen.

Hearing that, Naruto patted his chest and let out a deep breath. "Oh, that's a relief. Thanks, Sakura!"

He took the basket and thanked her.

Sakura's frustration disappeared, replaced by a teasing smirk. "What's this? You're not going to get all emotional and say, 'Sakura-chan, you're so good to me!' anymore?"

Gotta say, her impression of Naruto's fawning was spot-on.

"Well, he is the one she's teasing." Kurama chuckled, enjoying the show.

"Kurama, you're so noisy."

Naruto ignored Kurama again and smiled at Sakura. "Sakura, stop teasing me..."

"Well, now that you're in a relationship, you sound a lot more confident." Sakura gave Naruto an approving look.

The Naruto who used to chase after her had finally found someone he truly liked. But Sakura didn't feel regret—after accepting reality, she was genuinely happy for both Naruto and Hinata.

Still, she felt like she had a long way to go herself.

"Heh, whatever." Kurama made a motion as if pulling up his pants.

Naruto stared at Kurama, speechless.

"..."

Can you just shut up?
