Chapter 263: Kakashi: Achoo! Achoo!! Ah—choo!

As the glow of the Limited Tsukuyomi spread, Naruto instantly activated Six Paths Mode. Grabbing Sasuke in an almost incomprehensible way, he pulled him back at lightning speed. In less than a second, they had retreated nearly a hundred meters.

But still—

It was already too late.

When Naruto and Sasuke landed, the crystal ball had vanished. The flicker of light was so brief that it almost felt like an illusion. They exchanged confused glances.

"You two idiots," Kurama rolled his eyes. "If you had just asked me, I could've told you right away."

Naruto's face darkened. "You seriously don't realize how bad your morning mood is, do you?"

*Ask?*

If waking up Kurama meant the whole world might flip upside down, was it really worth it? Naruto still remembered what happened last time!

"Not my problem. You two are just dumb," Kurama said bluntly.

To be fair, that Kakashi showing up in that situation was obviously suspicious. On top of that, he was radiating hostility—he clearly wasn't the real deal. And yet, these two actually trusted him? Were they stupid?

But Kurama was just ranting.

White Zetsu's Transformation Jutsu was practically impossible to see through. The only real way to tell was by sensing his malice. Naruto had never encountered White Zetsu before, so it was understandable that he got tricked. And once Kurama pointed it out, Naruto caught on immediately.

Still—

It was too late.

Watching Naruto argue with Kurama, Sasuke twitched his lips.

*Forget it. Not worth watching. Annoying.*

Instead, he turned his attention to their surroundings, scanning the area carefully.

Then—he froze.

"Wait… this is… Konohagakure?"

Yes, it was Konohagakure.

Ichiraku Ramen was right there, bustling with customers happily slurping their noodles.

Hearing Sasuke's words, Naruto also paused. He instinctively looked in the direction of Ichiraku Ramen—and then completely froze.

"We're… back in Konohagakure?"

A long silence followed.

After a moment, the two exchanged glances.

Naruto hesitantly spoke, "Wait… what if that Kakashi just now *was* actually Kakashi-sensei?"

He hadn't seen White Zetsu revert back to its original form.

"Probably not," Sasuke muttered, rubbing his temple. "But maybe it was an ally from another village, sent to bring us back."

As weird as it sounded, if that guy was an enemy, why would he send them *back* to Konohagakure?

That didn't make sense.

Kurama rolled his eyes even harder.

"You two are completely hopeless. Do you even know what's going on in Konohagakure right now? Look around—does this place look like it's in the middle of a war?"

Naruto and—

Sasuke was stunned again.

It was true—Konohagakure was already at war with the Akatsuki. That was a fact. After all, even the Summoning Technique wasn't working.

But here, there wasn't just no war—there wasn't even the slightest hint of a battle. Everything was peaceful and calm, with no signs of conflict at all. The people looked just as they did in the old Konohagakure, completely unaffected.

Within his sensory range, Sasuke couldn't feel any malicious chakra.

Naruto scratched his head. "So what's going on here? There's no way we actually traveled through time or something, right?"

"Heh, for once, you're actually right."

Kurama smacked the ground with his right hand and laughed. "Congratulations! You and Sasuke are officially the first ninjas to cross into another world. You've made history in the ninja world."

Honestly, Infinite Tsukuyomi… wasn't that different from traveling to a parallel world.

Even if it was just Genjutsu.

"I'm more inclined to believe this is Genjutsu," Sasuke said, hitting the nail on the head.

He crouched down and ran his fingers across the ground. The sensation was so real that his heart sank.

"A Genjutsu that even my Rinnegan can't see through… It's not just messing with our five senses—it's tricking our entire perception."

A Genjutsu like this… He had never heard of anything like it before.

"So what do we do now?" Naruto deactivated his Six Paths mode, his face filled with frustration.

Sasuke didn't answer right away. He was deep in thought.

Honestly, he wasn't sure either.

"If this really is Genjutsu, then there has to be a way to break it. For now, let's just act normal. We'll live as usual and see what the person behind this is trying to do."

"Alright…" Naruto sighed. Not that they had any better options.

*Gurgle—*

Sasuke turned to look at Naruto.

Naruto's face flushed red as he gave an awkward laugh. "Sorry… I'm hungry."

They hadn't eaten since noon the day before. Of course, he was starving.

He turned his eyes toward Ichiraku Ramen with anticipation.

"Does food even work in a Genjutsu?"

Sasuke: "..."

*I swear I could punch you right now.*

But…

"…Yeah, let's try it." Sasuke answered with a completely serious face.

He would never admit that he was hungry too.

That was a matter of pride.

"Naruto? Sasuke?"

Just as they were debating how much to eat, a gentle voice called from behind them.

"You're not going home for dinner? What are you doing here?"

They turned toward the voice and saw a girl with pink hair smiling warmly at them.

It was Sakura.

Seeing their dumbfounded expressions, Sakura couldn't help but giggle.

She lightly covered her mouth and smiled, as warm as the sunlight. "You're not sneaking out to grab Ichiraku Ramen, are you? Looks like you two are getting along much better now, even hanging out together."

Naruto swallowed hard, sounding like he was questioning his entire life. "What the heck, Sasuke, I think I just saw a bit of Hinata in Sakura… Am I going blind?"

"I think I'm going blind too." Sasuke had the same doubtful expression.

Wow, seeing Hinata's gentleness in Sakura? If that's not blindness, then what is?

Sakura was still smiling but suddenly noticed something was off about their expressions. It was that mix of shock and confusion, like they had just seen something unthinkable—basically, a perfect pie chart of emotions.

Seeing this, Sakura didn't even bother joking around anymore. She quickly walked up to them, looking concerned. "What's wrong? Are you guys feeling okay?"

Now that she was closer, she finally noticed their injuries—their torn and bloodstained clothes, the wounds on their skin.

Sakura gasped and covered her mouth, her eyes welling up with tears. "You… you…"

"How could you sneak off to have a fight?! If Aunt Kushina and Aunt Mikoto find out, they'll be heartbroken!"

Naruto: "..."

Sasuke: "..."

Damn. Now that she said it like that, she wasn't exactly wrong. They did, in fact, meet up to fight.

Wait, hold on—more importantly…

Sakura! What's with those tears?! What's with that look in your eyes?! Why are you acting like this all of a sudden?!

AHHH!!! Naruto felt chills run down his spine. "Sakura, please, act normal. You're scaring me…"

Sasuke swallowed hard. Yeah, he was a little scared too.

But before he could say anything, a clear but slightly serious young girl's voice came from inside his sleeve.

"Sasuke-sama, I've confirmed it. This world isn't the one we originally came from. I can't reach Ryuchi Cave anymore."

"Based on the current situation, Sasuke-sama… we might really be in another world, one similar to the Three Great Sacred Lands."

Sasuke's entire face froze.

Did… did they really just travel to another world?

That idiot Kurama was actually telling the truth?

Damn it! Fake Kakashi! Screw you, you fraud!

Now realizing the full picture, Sasuke sent some heartfelt greetings to White Zetsu, who had just brought them here, and extended his regards to his ancestors as well.
