Chapter 339 : Second Company Commander, where the hell is your Italian cannon?

"My body... hasn't recovered?"

Ai looked at the chunk of muscle missing from his arm. Through the cracked area, he could see white scraps of paper inside.

He didn't feel any pain, and the flying paper clearly seemed to be trying to repair the damage. But no matter how much they moved, the wounds wouldn't heal at all.

Mu frowned and instinctively looked down at his own body. Although his injuries were smaller, he had also been cracked open by that last attack—and those cracks hadn't healed either.

He turned to look at Hozuki Gengetsu beside him and found that Gengetsu's body was also surrounded by paper scraps, but there were no signs of healing.

"That kid's jutsu seems to counter the one that was used to summon us," Mu said with certainty.

"It might have something to do with those little black balls floating behind him," Gengetsu said as he rubbed his chin, a curious look on his face. "Those things showed up after he changed into that form. It's clearly not Ninja Tools—it should be a chakra-based jutsu, but I can't sense any chakra from it."

"Yin Release?" A asked, a bit unsure.

Creating form or shape was a feature of Yin Release.

"Not just that. It feels more like Yin-Yang Release," Gengetsu shook his head. "Yin Release creates the form, Yang Release gives it life—so that kid can control it easily. Now that I think about it, the jutsu that summoned us also feels like it's based on Yin-Yang Release. So maybe that kid's 'Yin-Yang Release' can break our bodies down and stop the healing?"

Even as Gengetsu said this, he sounded a little unsure—after all, those black balls didn't give off any chakra at all.

They felt more like Ninja Tools than actual jutsu.

Mu and Ai both nodded.

Rasa, standing nearby, looked surprised. His knowledge of Yin-Yang Release wasn't as deep as these three veterans', and he was younger and less experienced too. He could kind of guess that the Truth-Seeking Balls were what countered them, but didn't understand exactly why.

Then again, he was also the only one of the four who wasn't hurt.

In the distance, Naruto heard the four of them talking. He calmed the slightly restless chakra in his body and smiled.

"This isn't Yin-Yang Release. It's a Kekkei Mora formed by all seven chakra natures, and it's called a Truth-Seeking Ball."

"Kekkei Mora?!" Rasa cried out loud. He had never even heard of the term before.

The other three looked surprised too, but not as shocked as Rasa.

Gengetsu's smile grew bold and wild. "How interesting. The Land of Fire in the future actually has Kekkei Mora… now this is really exciting."

His fighting spirit started to rise again.

Mu's face darkened, lost in thought.

Ai looked about the same but still asked, "Kid, you're just gonna tell us what your jutsu is?"

Naruto didn't mind and smiled. "Because only Kekkei Mora can fight Kekkei Mora. And as far as I know, only Kurama and I in the whole ninja world can use it. Not even Sasuke can."

"A strong man's luxury, huh…" Mu said without thinking, then shook his head for some reason.

"You really are a lot like that Senju Hashirama."

After he finished speaking, he looked at Naruto and asked, "By the way, weren't you in a hurry? Why are you still here talking to us?"

Naruto let out a sigh. "That last move took a lot out of me. I used it without switching to Tenseigan Chakra Mode, so it drained both my chakra and stamina. I also need time to gather natural energy again. Besides… I'm not in a hurry anymore."

Kurama had already left. With his strength, there was no one who could stop him—unless Kaguya suddenly came back to life.

That's impossible… right?

As that thought crossed his mind, Naruto suddenly had a bad feeling. Without thinking, he turned his head and looked in the direction Kurama had gone.

No way, right? Kurama may mess around a lot, but there's no way he'd mess things up at a time like this.

Thinking about that, Naruto's mouth twitched a little, and then his expression turned serious as he looked at Mu. "I think your worry makes sense. I'll reply later instead."

Mu: "..."

Is this guy's brain wired differently from theirs or something?

"Hahaha!" Hozuki Gengetsu burst out laughing. "Kid, I'm starting to like you."

A was confused—he had no idea what the three of them were talking about.

Rasa sighed, but his face became completely serious. "So I can take that to mean… you're about to unleash that kind of attack again?"

"Yeah." Naruto pressed his palms together. A huge wave of chakra began to burst out. "You guys are definitely strong. And I really don't have much…"

"…experience fighting powerful opponents. But there's one thing Kurama said that's absolutely right…"

"What was it?" Rasa asked without thinking.

Naruto grinned, his smile full of confidence. "All fear comes from not having enough firepower!"

"Sage Art: Super Giant Rasengan Barrage!"

A terrifying amount of chakra spread out and covered everyone—but this time, it wasn't the kind of overwhelming force that felt like it could crush them. Instead, it felt dense—so dense it gave the illusion of an endless ocean.

As countless Rasengans, each about the size of Kurama's head, slowly formed, the four of them looked up and felt like they were staring at stars filling the pitch-black sky—so many they couldn't even count them.

But these weren't stars in the night sky. They were black Madara dots against a bright blue sky.

Each one of those dots was a Rasengan powerful enough to wipe out the entire Hidden Leaf Village.

Hozuki Gengetsu's excited expression froze; he looked like he'd just seen a ghost. Mu was completely speechless, staring blankly at the scene before him. A's muscles, already tense, tightened even more—he looked like he was about to lose it.

"Is this… really the amount of chakra a human can have?" Rasa stared in shock at the countless 'meatballs' in the sky, unable to find words.

They were reincarnated with Edo Tensei. Their chakra was unlimited, but the upper limit stayed the same—or even got lower.

To put it simply, when they were alive, their chakra levels were like having ten Kakashis' worth. After being brought back with Edo Tensei, it dropped to about eight Kakashis' worth. The chakra doesn't run out, since it's infinite, but they can't use jutsu that needs more than eight Kakashis' worth of chakra, because that's their cap.

It's like in a game—just because you have infinite ammo doesn't mean you can spam Kassadin's ult non-stop. If your mana pool is only 1000, and each ult doubles the cost, once you need 1600 mana, you're stuck. You just can't use it.

Naruto, though? He's got hundreds of "cards" worth of chakra. Plus he's got support from Sage of Six Paths and Kurama. Even though he used up half his chakra earlier with the Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion, he still had hundreds of cards left. Spending some on a bunch of Rasengans? No big deal.

Standing in the middle of the storm of Rasengans, Naruto's grin burned with pure firepower. "This move is called… Six Paths: Heavenly Blossom!"

Kurama: Second Battalion Commander, where the hell is your Italian cannon?! Bring that thing up here!

"FIRE!!!"
