(Baelon's POV)
I heard Balerion's rumbling as he kept flying, all while Helaena and I kissed. I hugged her tightly, not wanting to let go of her. I could feel her warmth despite the cool wind hitting us.
It felt amazing, kissing this beautiful woman as I rode on my dragon. I did not realize how fortunate it was.
I felt Helaena patting my cheek as we kissed. I could feel her body getting hotter by the second; she was enjoying this. I never expected that she would be one to enjoy something like this but it did not matter to me.
As long as my wife was happy, I don't care.
She pulled away, "Mm…." She said as she licked her lips in a very suggestive way, "Baelon…."
That was unlike her and I liked this side of her. She was awkward and gentle but at times, she knew what she wanted; Me. And she knew that she would have me.
I saw the way she looked at me, her sweet and gentle eyes full of love. It was strange, there was no sign of lust in her eyes, It was pure affection.
"I am fortunate to be allowed to embrace and kiss you like this, my love." I said with a smile
"Stop….flattering me…." She blushed
"No." I kissed her on the forehead
"Focus on flying." She said with a chuckle, "This could be distracting."
"Worth it." I smirked slightly
"I cannot with you." She smiled
I then leaned back a little and focused on holding the reigns on Balerion, looking ahead in the sky. It was a beautiful sight; the blackwater below us with the various small islands that were littered around. There were some ships here and there that Baleriom covered with his shadow. It was all a good moment to take in.
"We should do this more often." I told Helaena, "What do you think?"
"I think that is a wonderful idea." She said
I hugged her more, "Good."
"Kiss me again, Baelon." She said suddenly
I raised an eyebrow, "Oh?"
"Kiss me." She said again
"Whatever happened to focusing?" I asked her as I leaned closer to her face, "Stopped caring about that, eh?"
"Just do it." She blushed even more
"If you wish it so…" I said
I leaned in more and kissed her on the lips, embracing her firmly once more as she raised her arm and patted my cheek. This time, she kissed me back a bit more passionately than before. It surprised me a little, having her do that. She's typically so shy and awkward but now, she's gotten this sudden confidence. I am not complaining, though.
After what seemed like a full minute of kissinf, Helaena pulled away.
"Oh…." She said as she looked at me, a bit of bliss in her eyes, "I am enjoying this."
I smiled, "As am I."
I leaned in and kissed her shoulder and hugged her.
"I do not wish for any of this to end….our love…." Helaena said
"You and I both, my love." I said,
"I want this to last forever."

(Third Person POV)
[Claw Isle, A Few Weeks Later…..]
It was already dark outside and most of the residents of House Celtigar's keep were asleep.
Except for the Princess Rhaenyra who was in her quarters, lighting a few candles. She was in her nightgown and her hair was let loose.
She sat in her bed, her eyes a bit red as she wiped a tear away.
The door of her quarters creaked open and a young maid walked in, holding a small cup of steaming tea.
"Princess…" she said softly as she walked over to her
"Yes, bring it here." She said
The maid walked over and handed her the tea. Without hesitation, Rhaenyra began to carefully drink it as the maid stood there and watched.
After a minute of carefully drinking it, she handed the empty cup to her.
"Thank you." Rhaenyra said softly
The maid nodded, "Of course."
"How are the others?" Rhaenyra asked her
"They have gotten more ill." She said, "Lord Celtigar is contemplating in letting them go until it passes. The Maester wishes to keep them here to treat them but I am afraid it will not happen."
Rhaenyra nodded, "Is that so?"
"Yes…" the maid said, "The boys have been spending time with Sera, maybe the Princess should check on them. In case they also get ill."
"I will do that." Rhaenyra said as she gave her a weak smile, "Thank you."
The maid bowed slightly and walked out the room, leaving her by herself.
Rhaenyra then looked outside the window, seeing the empty sky and glowing moon. As she stared at it, a pit in her stomach began to open. Various emotions began to swell up inside of her but she could not do anything but keep them to herself.
She looked down and clenched the skirt of her nightgown as she sniffed, some tears rolling down her cheeks which she immediately wiled away.
"Oh…." She said as her voice trembled, "Why? Why now?"
She looked at the candle, the flickering flame. She could not help but feel some sorr of dread.
Up until recently, her Husband had not been intimate with her. After the events from two years ago, Trevor had been acting cold towards her. And just recently, he had been wanting a child from her.
But for whatever reason, Rhaenyra had been secretly drinking Moon Tea after their intimate nights.
The Princess wiped more tears away from her face, sniffing more as she could not help but think of her siblings.
The more she thought of them, the sadder she got. Who knows what the Princess was going through at this moment.
"Why…." She whispered as she began to sob, "Why does it have to be this way?"
She thought of her brother, Baelon, and how cold he acted to her. To say that there was tension between them would be a severe understatement. But regardless, there was conflicting emotions within the Princess. She could not bring herself to admit anything to her husband, so anything that she had discussed with Baelon was kept to herself.
And Trevor Celtigar was aware of that.
She wiped her tears away and took a breath in, "Okay….." She said before exhaling, "Okay…..you are okay…no need to worry about anything Rhaenyra…..."
"Tomorrow is a new day…"
