Chapter 219, third-tier Big-Head

Chapter 219, third-tier Big-Head

After sharing Xiaoxiao's perspective, Wu Heng released her again.

She floated nearby, talking about how terrifying the Big-Head Zombie was, saying skeletons were cuter in comparison.

Li Yanhong asked, "How was it?"

Wu Heng didn't answer but instead asked, "Has the central station classified the appearance or traits of Big-Head Zombies?"

"Classified?" Li Yanhong thought for a moment and said, "I've never heard of any classification. Their main traits are a large head and abnormally slow movement, and they can command a certain number of zombies."

Wu Heng nodded and explained, "Xiaoxiao's right. There's a second-tier mutated crawler zombie and a zombie with a Big-Head Skeleton appearance, but I suspect it's a third-tier mutated zombie."

"Third-tier?" Li Yanhong was shocked.

The central station hadn't reported encountering many third-tier zombies, yet they had run into one a few days ago and now another one today.

What kind of luck was this?

Without Wu Heng's skeletons, they would have been dead by now.

She suddenly felt that the Flame God Shelter was truly lucky for choosing to retreat today.

If they had stubbornly decided to give it a try, they'd probably be dead with nothing left.

"What should we do?" Li Yanhong asked again.

"It's not a big problem. Taking over this factory is still achievable."

Even though it was a third-tier mutated zombie, it wasn't a significant issue.

The zombies in the factory were limited, and unlike in the city, a fight here wouldn't attract more hordes.

Killing it here was actually a good opportunity.

Plus, they had added Skull-Crusher to their team, so it shouldn't be a problem.

After thinking for a moment, Wu Heng said, "Stop the convoy here. All skeletons disembark and follow me."

Li Yanhong picked up the radio and relayed the plan to the convoy.

All the skeletons in the truck leaped down and began assembling.

Once all the skeletons were ready, Wu Heng waved his hand, and the group immediately moved toward the factory.

......

Clatter~!

The skeleton army approached the factory gate, instantly alerting the wandering zombies inside.

Roar~ Roar~ Roar~!

A series of violent roars echoed throughout the factory.

A large group of zombies began converging at the gate, surging forward like a torrent.

"Throw spears, release!" Wu Heng ordered as he gauged the distance of the horde.

Whoosh~!

Iron spears formed a black net as they descended from the sky.

With the sound of metal clashing, the zombies at the front were instantly pierced, falling to the ground in piles.

Before they could get up.

The ones behind trampled over the fallen zombies, continuing to charge forward.

"Throw them all!"

Swish~ Swish~ Swish~!

The skeletons didn't wait for further orders.

They threw their spears one after another.

A rain of iron fell again and again, covering the ground with layers of corpses.

Roar~!

The horde, undeterred by death, stepped over their fallen comrades and continued charging.

Wu Heng quickly cast [Bone Armor] on himself, his body covered in pale white bones.

He rushed to the front of the skeleton formation.

Facing the oncoming horde, he cast [Grease Spell].

Slick grease spread across the ground.

The zombies at the front instantly lost their footing, tumbling down in large numbers.

Then he cast [Fireball Spell], sending a scorching fireball into a zombie, which ignited the grease as it exploded.

A massive blaze erupted, sending waves of heat that distorted the air.

Large numbers of zombies were consumed by the flames, thrashing and howling.

As the skeletons crouched down, waiting for the zombies to charge through the fire and into the spear formation.

The horde suddenly stopped behind the flames.

Although they continued roaring and clawing, they slowly began retreating.

"As expected, it's controlled by the Big-Head Zombie."

The one controlling the horde was definitely the Big-Head Zombie.

The horde looked around and then began circling the fire, climbing over the courtyard walls to attack the skeletons from the sides.

Wu Heng glanced over and said, "Have the Spear Skeletons wait below the walls."

Two teams of Spear Skeletons moved to the base of the walls.

The zombies that leaped down were impaled on the waiting spears.

One by one, they were skewered and slid down.

After about ten minutes.

The fire gradually died down, leaving only a few charred corpses still burning.

As soon as the fire went out, the zombies launched another attack.

The stench hit them as they rushed forward.

They crashed into the skeletons' spear formation, accompanied by the sounds of piercing flesh and zombie roars.

After a brief chaotic clash.

The zombies began dying in large numbers.

Wu Heng, standing toward the middle-rear of the formation, gave the order, "Advance."

Clatter~!

The skeletons, now much higher in level than the zombies, especially with several skeleton beast warriors among them, created a crushing situation.

Thousands of skeletons pushed through the horde into the factory, leaving blood-soaked corpses in their wake.

"Uncle, zombies are circling around," Xiaoxiao appeared in the air, pointing to one side.

Behind the office building, a large group of zombies came charging with gnashing teeth.

Wu Heng nodded and said to the Big-Head Skeleton, "Send a small squad to eliminate those zombies."

A squad of skeletons immediately split off.

They charged head-on toward the flanking zombies.

After an intense battle, the skeletons grew fiercer, pushing back the zombies with overwhelming force.

......

Night fell.

All the streetlights in the factory turned on.

The bright white light illuminated the corpses scattered everywhere.

The outside horde had been completely wiped out, and the remaining zombies had retreated into the office building.

This was also where the Big-Head Zombie was hiding.

"Attack!" Wu Heng ordered.

The skeletons moved again, launching an assault on the building.

Bang~!

Suddenly, the glass on the fifth floor shattered, and a giant crawler zombie burst out, climbing along the exterior wall.

Riding on the crawler zombie's back was the Big-Head Zombie.

The crawler moved incredibly fast, scaling the wall and disappearing into the night.

Bang~!

A gunshot rang out, as Hunter One fired from a distance.

The bullet pierced through the crawler's lower back, causing it to lose its footing and nearly fall.

It glanced warily below and immediately climbed to the other side of the building.

"Get up there and kill them. Don't let any of them escape," Wu Heng commanded.

Three Skeleton Terrorclaws immediately scaled the building, chasing after them.

Wu Heng, along with a few armed skeletons, began firing upward.

The regular skeletons weren't particularly accurate.

But with a barrage of bullets, they still managed to hinder the crawler zombie's movements.

The three "Skeleton Terrorclaws" caught up and engaged in a fierce struggle on the building's outer wall.

Thud~!

A dull thud echoed as the two mutated zombies fell to the ground.

"Kill them!"

The crawler tried to get up, but Skull-Crusher swung its hammer, smashing its head.

The Big-Head Zombie, with its skull shattered.

Struggled with its tiny arms, crawling painfully, leaving a trail of thick fluid behind.

Blood Axe walked over.

Stepping on its deformed body, the battle axe came down, and its massive head rolled away.
