The attitude I carry

"What? Really?" Demitri was quite bewildered, realizing at the same time, how small the world could be.

"Yes. Why?" Nora turned a bit confused.

"It's the company where I work too," Demitri replied with a smile. "I can't believe you also got a job there. So, will you stop working part-time? And does Mr. Morelli know that you've debts on you," he asked, showing his genuine concern.

The waiter arrived with their orders and asked them to enjoy themselves after setting the dishes on the table.

"Since the pay is far more than I had expected, I will leave those part-time jobs," Nora replied.

"That's great. Let's begin eating then," Demitri stated. It was a light breakfast– a croissant and a coffee.

"I'll pay," Nora offered.

"Grandma will scold me. Maybe you can treat me next time if we meet each other," Demitri remarked, not letting her pay the bills. Shortly, they both made their way out.
