Demitri arrived at the office in the afternoon and made his way directly to the reception desk. Nora was engrossed in her work, her fingers swiftly moving over the keyboard, when the sound of someone clearing their throat caught her attention. She lifted her head and was met with Demitri's familiar presence. Offering him a polite smile, she greeted him professionally.
"How may I assist you, sir?" she asked, maintaining a formal tone.
Demitri's brows furrowed slightly. "Don't call me 'sir,'" he said with mild displeasure.
"You hold a higher rank than me," Nora replied.
Demitri chuckled, shaking his head. "Are we in the military?"
She gave him a small smile but chose not to argue.
"Do you have any free time after work?" he asked.
"I do. Why?" Nora inquired, tilting her head slightly.
