It feels more like a summary of events rather than a story.
Thought it was great until all the mental stuff. Plus the whole red hood being real and manipulating him turned me off. I thought I’d be getting into a good old supernatural Hunter type thing which would work amazing with the Gilbert’s but it’s really focusing on a lot of mental well-being and the MCs psyche.
