"Yeah... He's definitely going to sell them..." Another girl said. "Anyways, Eren, how did you do that?" She said and placed her hand on his chest.
Eren stared without a reply.
"I guess it's a natural thing for geniuses like him." Another girl added, smiling for no reason. "I wish I could make one perfect pill, even if it's just a mint pill." She continued.
Phillip's eyebrow twitched on hearing these. His hatred for Eren grew to a hundred percent. He stared at him with a fuming expression, while Eren stared back expressionless.
"Seriously?" Eren thought, finding this whole situation a drag. "Don't worry, I'll be sure to make a black pill next time."
~Ring Ring Ring~
An awfully loud bell rang.
"Time for the next class" A girl said as they all dispersed. Phillip stared at Eren for a few more seconds before turning away.
"Excuse me." A female voice says.
Eren turned to see a girl with a quite petite body. She had red, long curly hair which cascaded down her back to her butt, and she wore on a black shades. She wore a black turtle-neck top under her blazer, with popsocks under her skirt, and gloves. She even wore a facemask- every part of her skin was covered.
"I'm Aurora. Mr. Will asked me to show you the next class. He also asked me to show you your locker, so you can get your notes." She said.
Eren stared at this mysterious being for a while before he answered. She had a soft tone and a frail body, like something about to break.
"I am the class president. Feel free to address me anyhow you like."
"Okay." Eren replied.
"Shall we?" She said as she pointed to the exit.
"Oh... Oh... Sure." Eren said, getting out of his seat.
The next class was history. This was a general class and everyone was to take it, as Eren saw it in the timetable. Eren thought it wise to ask Aurora some questions now, while the journey lasted, before it was too late. He was afraid he wouldn't meet any normal person that he would be able to ask in the future. He asked questions like; how to use the map - because he was certainly not getting it, how to use the golden card that Lady Eva gave him, and some other relevant questions, mainly because she was the class president.
Aurora gracefully answered all these questions with a smile, and for some reason, she was walking very slowly.
They finally got to the history classroom after a turn to the left. The hall sounded awfully quiet and Eren found this odd.
Aurora turned, opened a huge door, and walked in, with Eren following behind. Indeed, the class was empty. No one had arrived yet.
He turned to the front of the class to see an idle woman sitting behind the desk, waiting to see some students walk in. On the board was written 'history', so this was, undoubtedly, the class.
Aurora went and sat at the front. Eren didn't see it right to sit with her, he felt he had already inconvenienced her enough, so he went and sat elsewhere.
As soon as he sat, the teacher stood and wrote the topic on the board, 'THE DEATHLY HALLOWS'
"Long time ago, in an era lost in history, there were three warriors- greatest at that time. They conquered the great army all on their own, and attained the highest position a warrior could get, so they set out on a journey in search of a higher power in further lands. They came to the end of the world, to a deep treacherous river, where anyone who attempted to swim or cross would meet their end. One of the warriors raised his wand and conjured a bridge, and they proceeded to cross."
At this point, Eren didn't care about the empty class anymore. He was deep into the story, and the silence of the class built suspense. For Eren, what was left was snacks to complete the moment.
The teacher, on the other hand, was much less bothered about the emptiness of the class.
"There, halfway across the bridge, they met 'Death'." She said, then turned to the board and wrote the word, 'DEATH'. She continued, "This is the only time Death is mentioned in history with concrete proof." Again, she turned and wrote 'PROOF' on the board, and this time, she circled it repeatedly.
"What do I mean proof?" She asked, and walked out of her desk, coming forward...
~Bang!~
The door slammed open, interrupting the lesson.
Eren turned, wanting to curse, to see people swarming in - literally.
The class was full in a few minutes and the teacher, too, seemed shocked. The students didn't all look to be first years.
Suddenly, the crowd cleared a way from the entrance, and they turned their filming pods on and started filming. Four guys walked inside.
The one in the front had golden yellow hair and red fiery eyes. He had a built physique impressive for his age.
The second one to the right had blue hair with a wierd haircut that had one side longer than the other. He looked average.
The next one standing to the left had light pink hair with light brown eyes. He had a disgusted look on his face and was looking down on everything.
The last one had black hair with black irises. He was the tallest among the group, and gave off a less aggressive vibe.
The four guys walked up to the teacher and surrounded her. The yellow gold haired one turned to the crowd to do the honors.
"Today, we have decided to get a vivid demonstration on an the art of sorcery from our sorcerer history teacher. Sorcery is a part of history, isn't it? Don't you think it would be a good one to teach?" He said and then turned back to the teacher with a smile.
The crowd cheered loudly like fans of a football team and more people trooped in.
The teacher's beautiful lively eyes dropped. She stood there, without uttering a word, seeming so sad - like a peacock that had lost its tail, not for the fact that they picked on her, but for the fact that they couldn't even, for one moment, listen to her class.
At first when the people came in, excitement ran through her veins, "Perhaps they decided to watch my class to mock me", "Or maybe they just came to listen like normal students do..." Whatever the case would've been, she would've still been happy. As long as they stay, she was eager to make them listen.
Miss Frieren's passion and goal, ever since childhood, was teaching - history to be precise. She had a lot of siblings, and when she told them stories, she was happy to see them shocked and amazed about things, and ask if they really happened.
She was a sorcerer living in the high class society, her parents were killed and their wealth, looted. Her siblings disappeared and she had not seen any of them ever since. She kept on growing and managed to earn a title as the first licensed sorcerer teacher. She knew it would be like this but all she wanted to do was teach, even if they hate her.
She got into ER Academy, which was her golden opportunity to be happy, "But what was this?" She thought.
Some sorcerer were known and stigmatized in the society. Some retained their wealth since the great war, but most didn't last like Miss Frieren whose parents had been killed.
Most titleless sorcerers could keep their identity secret, but the high class ones couldn't, and they were treated badly, even when granted protection by the king.
History was a useless study in the Eastern kingdom because the humans did not like to be reminded of their past. Nobody really studied it, but it has been made a compulsory subject and a national treasure to remind the coming generations of the harm that the sorcerers caused, and development after the great war, but Miss Frieren thought of history to be more then that.
She thought that humans were dumb because the sorcerers had hid so many artifacts and things they wouldn't know about, but could learn by studying them.
Only the sorcerers had information on beasts and how they could be killed - which would solve so many problems; from herbs, to armour, and artifacts, history could teach them all.
But something was odd. Having no intelligence whatsoever on these things was impossible. How could they survive? How could they have survived for a thousand years now?
Miss Frieren's frustration was at its peak. She didn't care anymore.
Eren could feel her mana boiling up from where he sat, and he knew she was about to do something stupid. 'Utterly stupid' were the words because she could be executed for it. But he wasn't planning on playing the hero.
"Don't worry teacher, god himself will thank you if you use your magic." The golden haired guy whispered. "Come on, we're waiting... You know we're not planning on leaving this place without a demonstration, and we are prepared to take all measures necessary." He continued loudly, drawing in the crowd.
Eren closed his eyes to see her yellow light increasing. He also noticed that there were some other sorcerers in the crowd. Two orange aura and three red aura sorcerers. They also sat quietly, waiting for Miss Frieren's reaction.
The golden haired dude moved closer, and Miss Frieren looked directly into his eyes with rage.
