SPONSORSHIP TEST 2

Eren opened his eyes to the sight of a beautiful woman smiling down on him as he laid in her arms.

She had blonde hair curled into rows and she wore a crown made of flowers. Her eyes where blue and as deep as the ocean as she stared down at him like the world was in her arms.

Her dressing was quite peculiar, an armless white gown slit on both sides, down from the top of her waist exposing her laps and golden hooks as fastings on her waist and shoulders.

The atmosphere seemed different, he was small and suiting.

"My dear Gaza." She said, but Eren couldn't understand what she said because it was in a different language.

Eren furrowed his brows and woke like a confused soul. He turned around and noticed that he was in the school's nursery. Noah sat beside him peeling honey fruit. Eren put his arm on his forehead and closed his eyes.

"What's happening to me?" He asked.

"I believe that was a link."Noah answered."that wasn't yours but someone else's memory. If you haven't heard of it before, it is called the..."

"Pastoral link." They both said together.

"Yes, I know what it is." Eren said. "But why?" He asked.

"When a great sorcerer dies, he doesn't just abandon the world. His memory core roams around powerless until it finds a soul similar to his and whose soul matches his. Then, it fuses with that soul, passing down its memories and knowledge acquired in its years." Noah said. "Why didn't I know that?" Eren asked. "Well there is so much you don't know." Noah replied.

Noah handed over the honey fruit to Eren and a cup of water.

"You did this to me." Eren said.

"Not exactly, I just cut out your mana flow since you were getting worked up." Noah said.

"Then what do you mean not exactly!" Eren almost yelled.

"I'm sorry." Noah immediately said.

Eren drank the water and cooled down. "How long have I been out?"

"Three hours." Noah answered.

"I've missed two classes already and now, it's lunch break. I am hungry." Eren said.

A girl suddenly walked passed them. She had brown hair with an equal length bangs. He elbow was all bandaged up and she had test guns hanged on both sides of her waist.

"That is the TS 24. One of the highest test guns in the academy. That gun costs more than 200 gold Darius Coins " Noah said.

'cough!'

Eren's water changed it's course to his nostrils. "200 what?" He almost yelled.

"That is Dina of the Limrik household one of the best engineers in the second grade... I would'nt be surprised if she got a sponsor in the sponsorship test." Noah said.

Eren remembered that Philip also bet on her.

"What exactly is this sponsorship test?"

"Specialist from all over the Eastern kingdom and the other kingdoms come to our academy to single out the best out of the best in every department to train them. This doesn't necessarily depend on social status but on one's talent." Noah said.

Eren put his hand on his forehead again. "Help me up, I'm hungry." He said.

Noah took Eren to the cafeteria. They picked out a meal and sat on a vacant table. This place was quite different from the first one Eren had been to. It was a wide space, less sophisticated and there were a lot of people, so it was noisy.

"This place looks different from the place I had been to earlier." Eren said while cutting a steak.

"Really? Well, what building was it in?" Noah asked.

"The one beside the archery field." Eren said.

"Wait. They let you in there? Right, I almost forgot, you are from the Willberg household. We common folks don't get to eat in places like that." Noah said.

"Don't be fooled, this place is much more comfortable." Eren said sincerely. "If you want, I could take you there." He continued.

Noah looked at Eren while he ate, and thought, 'He looks different from the people from Oailia, maybe it was his vibe. He has humble eyes and he looks really relaxed.:

The students from high houses usually don't eat with other students. They have private suites and servants. Even for the fact that the cafeteria in the archery building was meant for them.

"Where are you from Eren?" Noah asked out of curiosity.

"I could tell you since you already have something on me, but I will not... What is the matter? You're surprised that I don't act all high and mighty like the others." Eren said.

"It's not that..." Noah retorted calmly. He raised his tea cup and took a sip . "Your eyes say something completely different from this environment." He said.

"Really, so what do you think?" Eren replied and turned to Noah.

"It is like you are running away from something..." Noah said. He looked directly into Eren's eyes. "You are running away from the truth." He continued.

"What truth?"Eren asked.

Noah smiled, turned away and continued sipping his tea. "I'm not sure, you tell me." Noah said.

"Are you really a monk? Does that explain the long hair and the cave man behavior?" Eren asked.

"Caveman behavior? How?" Noah yelled.

"By the way, do monks really see the future?" Eren continued, ignoring Noah's agitation.

"Yes they do!" Noah retorted.

"Really? I don't believe you." Eren said.

"They do, I'm telling you." Noah said

"So why are you here if you are a monk? Don't they live in solitude in the mountains? Or are you a fake monk?" Eren asked curiously.

"You are asking too many questions. I can not tell you why I'm here, but please believe that I am a true monk." Noah said.

Eren stared at Noah holding his mouth close so, he wouldn't laugh. "Are you laughing right now?" he said annoyed. "Why don't I take you up to pops so you'll see for yourself.". Noah said.

"Po..." He burst out laughing. "You call your master pops." Eren giggled.
