Tourist Centre

Since it is their intention to first get to learn and know about the culture and traditions of those living in Land Climax, Alfred and Romeo decided to pay a visit to the place that tends to hold the stories and experiences of the land itself.

Arriving at the Tourist Centre in an autonomous hovering car that was provided by the hotel, Romeo couldn't help but admire the beauty of the centre.

The Centre was located in an intersection at the centre of Land Climax where it is easier for tourists or visitors to come and go as they please.

As they hovered into the Centre, Romeo made sure to take in every structural and technological details of the Centre.

The exterior of the Tourist Centre is a masterpiece of futuristic design and sustainable architecture, seamlessly integrating into the surrounding landscape. The building's sleek, curved silhouette is clad in a shimmering, iridescent facade that adapts to the environment, shifting hues to mirror the sky, earth and water.

The structure's undulating roofline is covered in lush, verdant gardens, providing insulation and habitats for local wildlife. Thin, towering solar spires rise from the roof, harnessing energy while casting a delicate, lace-like shadow on the ground below.

The entrance is marked by a gleaming, metallic archway, flanked by holographic displays that welcome visitors and showcase local attractions. The surrounding plaza features a dynamic, interactive pavement that responds to foot traffic, creating a mesmerizing display of light and color.

The centre's exterior walls are adorned with intricate, swirling patterns generated by advanced algorithms, creating a unique, ever-changing art installation.

As the duo proceed into the centre, Romeo's gaze wandered around the excellence of the interior of the Centre.

The interior of the Tourist Centre is a masterclass in futuristic design, seamlessly integrating cutting edge technology, sustainable materials and comfortable amenities. Upon entering, Romeo was greeted by a spacious atrium with a translucent, photovoltaic roof, allowing natural light to pour in while generating energy.

The interior zones are thoughtfully designed to cater to diverse interests which tends to captivate the attention of tourists or visitors.

The Knowledge Hub features interactive exhibits, virtual reality experiences, and AI driven insights, offering a deep dive into local culture, history and ecology.

The Adventure Zone is a thrill-seeker's paradise, where visitors can plan and book excursions, from guided hikes to extreme sports, with expert advice and real-time weather updates.

The Relaxation Oasis provides a serene atmosphere, complete with soothing ambiance, aromatherapy, and rejuvenating treatments, perfect for unwinding.

The Creativity Studio is an artistic haven, equipped with cutting-edge tools, workshops, and collaborative spaces, inspiring visitors to express themselves.

The Taste Quest Canteen is a futuristic dining space with interactive cooking stations, where visitors can prepare and customise their own meals using robotic kitchen assistant. It also also where they are granted the privilege to try out different dishes and meals pertaining to the culture of those living in Land Climax.

Throughout the centre, smart furniture adjusts to visitors' preferences, ensuring a comfortable experience. Sustainable materials, living walls, and air-purifying systems maintain a healthy environment. AI-powered holographic guides and concierges offer personalized assistance, while augmented reality interfaces provide immersive experiences.

Romeo took in a deep breath as he looked at the excellence of the Centre. It was all too much for him to take in and process at the same time.

From the advancement in the technological beings of the Centre to the excellence of the architectural design of the Centre, Romeo felt like he had arrived in another world. A world where everything seems to perfect to be true.

"Come on, Romeo. Don't just stand there, let us join the tour group." Alfred said as he points at a group of people who were gathered around a man that seems to be the tour guide.

"Hello, everyone. My name is Jason and I would be your tour guide for today." The tour guide, whose name is Jason, introduced enthusiastically with a bright smile.

"So shall we?" Jason said while leading the group of tourists around the Centre with Romeo and Alfred also trailing behind.

"Now, the first thing you should know about the Tourist Centre is that it is over seven decades years old." Jason said. "It was first built for the purpose of scientific research, owing to the presence of the Primals a century ago, but was later structured into the Centre we all see today."

"The Tourist Centre covers a large area of land, roughly an estimate of a dozen thousands metres square miles with several zones and tourist areas built in."

The tour continued with Jason explaining every functions of each of the zones in the Centre. He also went ahead to tell them about the founder of the centre who is said to be a member of one of the most powerful Houses of Carnal Shifters in Land Climax.

Having explored the vast majority of the Centre and the wonders it entails, Romeo and Alfred decided to settle in the Taste Quest Canteen where they were granted the privilege to taste every meal the canteen has to offer for free.

They then proceeded to the Relaxation Oasis, where they spent the entire afternoon in enjoying the serenity of the Centre while resting their minds and soul. The duo were in the process of relaxation when they heard a commotion coming from lobby.

Confused and curious at the same time, the duo decided to check it out. As they arrived at the lobby, they were greeted by a large luxurious entourage that tends to captivate the attention of everybody in the lobby save for Romeo who quickly hid himself.

"Shit!" Romeo muttered as he quickly bend his head. He recognised the man who was leading the entourage as the one he got into conflict with the previous day.

As if his bad luck wasn't already enough, Romeo also saw two Armoured Elites he is familiar with amongst the entourage of the man. They were the ones he stole from so as to be able to pay off the debts he owed to Alfred back at the slums.

"Alfred, I think we have already spend enough time touring the Centre. Let us get going." Romeo said tugging at Alfred's sleeves. He is really eager to leave the Centre before he is noticed by any of his enemies.

Alfred was puzzled when Romeo asked him to be going. He is yet to explore to his satisfaction so there is no way he is leaving without sating his desires to the fullest.

"Romeo, it is just afternoon. I suggest we stay a little longer, after all, haste is waste." Alfred says but that only seems to escalate Romeo's agitated state further.

Staying in the Tourist Centre any longer is like asking him to gladly receive a death sentence. After yesterday's encounter with Armstrong, Romeo could clearly tell that the young man would be out for revenge and as if that was also not enough, the two Armoured Elites he pissed off are still very much mad at him for stealing their pouches of coins. They made it clear in the reaction they showed while they pursued him that day.

If anything, Romeo doesn't want to stay in the centre any longer than he should considering the fact that he is now surrounded by his enemies, at least, that is what they are to him, for now.
