Hydra Base!

The following morning, the sun barely peeked over the horizon, casting faint beams of light across the vast expanse of Maxim's fortified estate.

Within the command centre of the base, Maxim was currently present, looking at the various screens filled with data filtered by A.N.G.E.L as he prepared for the upcoming mission.

Next to him, Pietro and Wanda were present, looking towards the screen themselves before Maxim spoke, "Today's the day you two take the next step. I trained you for a while, and now its time to put that training to work. The first base we're taking down is located in Romania."

"So what's the plan?" Pietro asked with a cocky grin, but the tone of his voice clearly showed a hint of nerves beneath the bravado.

As Maxim heard him, he just chuckled, signaling A.N.G.E.L to swap to another display, which showed a detailed layout of the Hydra base: from underground tunnels, surveillance systems, the number of guards, paths they take, and a network of highly guarded vaults that houses Hydra's most valuable assets.

"This isn't just gonna be a normal attack. I'll be testing your ability to follow orders and complete assignments. In fights, I need to see how well both of you will handle specific tasks."

Maxim said, the display changing as it zoomed in, revealing specific weak points in the defensive setup of the Hydra base.

"We'll be hitting the base from multiple angles," Maxim began, his voice low and focused, "Pietro, you'll handle the guards and initial defenses. Disarm them, disable any alarms or countermeasures they have in place. Speed is key. A.N.G.E.L will guide you through the system, she has access to their security feeds and will keep you updated in real-time."

Pietro nodded, his grin returning, "Sounds easy enough. Just keep up."

Maxim's visor shifted toward Wanda. "Wanda, you're going in after Pietro. Once he's neutralized the defenses, I need you to take down the higher ups, strategists, anyone with knowledge of Hydra operations. Don't eliminate them immediately, probe their mind, try to pry out any information you can."

Wanda's expression hardened, her fingers curling into fists as crimson energy flickered around her hands. She had no qualms about the mission. After all Hydra had done, they deserved far worse.

"And you?" Wanda asked, tilting her head slightly.

Maxim turned back to the holographic display, his voice a dark whisper, "I'll just be looking over both of you, making everything goes to plan and I'll take down anyone who slips through the cracks."

Wanda and Pietro nodded and looked towards each-other, excited to begin the mission. Finally, after so much training, they're finally able to begin taking down the organization that has been ruining their home of Sokovia.

Once Maxim finished explaining, they discussed for a short while longer, ironing out any smaller details before finally leaving the command centre, their footsteps echoing through the dimly lit corridor as they moved deeper into the estate, where Maxim had created a stealth jet.

They entered the jet and slowly strapped in, before it took off, being controlled and driven by A.N.G.E.L. The flight to Romania was swift and silent, using advanced stealth technology to fly under any potential radar's.

Time ticked by extremely quickly and they finally neared their destination, the landscapes below shifting from the rugged mountains to dense forests that were used to shroud the Hydra base in natural cover.

As the holographic map showed the Jet moving closer to the base, the twins sitting across from Maxim exchanged tense glances, mentally prepared for what lay ahead.

As the jet descended toward the drop point, A.N.G.E.L's voice filled their comms, "Approaching Hydra's security perimeter. Estimated response time upon entry is 30 seconds. Recommend immediate action once boots are on the ground."

As A.N.G.E.L finished speaking, the three of them all activated their suits, watching as the Nanotechnology wrapped around their body.

Maxim quickly warped into a dark, menacing image, the folds of his cloak-like armor shifting as though it was alive, imbued by his cosmic power.

Pietro felt the blue and white, sleek and aerodynamic fabric wrapping around his body. His visor, connected to A.N.G.E.L, flickered to life with an array of mission data and diagnostics, all flickering across his vision.

Meanwhile, the deep red suit wrapped around Wanda's body, readying her for combat.

Maxim glanced at Pietro, his glowing eyes visible. The ever-present hum of the jet's systems filled the air, but in that moment, everything seemed to quiet as Maxim placed a hand on Pietro's shoulder and spoke,

"It's time to shine, Pietro. Show me what you're capable of."

Pietro's grin stretched wide, his cocky demeanor returning with full force now that the moment of action had arrived. His heart pounded with anticipation and his entire body was thrumming with energy as he stood up and moved toward the drop hatch.

"Don't worry, I got this," Pietro said, his voice confident. The drop hatch slid open with a hiss, and a gust of cold wind rushed inside the jet, mingling with the low-light environment.

Below them, the dense forest surrounding the Hydra base stretched out like a dark sea, with only the occasional glimmer of light from hidden cameras and patrols. The trees bent and swayed in the wind, but to Pietro, they were nothing but blurs of color.

Pietro didn't need any further instructions. With a slight nod, he stepped off the platform and vanished from sight, leaving nothing but a sonic boom in his wake as he hurtled toward the ground.

The forest floor rushed up to meet him, but at the last second, he angled his body and dashed into the dense underbrush, moving so fast that even the most advanced sensors failed to catch his presence.

Maxim watched Pietro's progress on his HUD, the monitor's on the jet were connected to A.N.G.E.L's feed, giving them live updates, tracking Pietro's every movement through the sprawling complex.

The blue blurs darting between the trees, bypassing cameras and patrols, reassured him that Pietro was moving as planned.

"First guard tower neutralized," A.N.G.E.L. reported in Maxim's ear. A flicker of satisfaction crossed Maxim's face beneath his mask.

Pietro was fast, faster than he had been even during their training, it seems his excitement and eagerness to complete the mission had pushed Pietro's potential even more, allowing him to achieve another breakthrough in his speed.

Just as Maxim expected, the best way to improve was in high pressure situations, and missions was the easiest way to replicate those situations.

Pietro dashed past the first set of guards at the perimeter fence, his fingers expertly disabling the nearest surveillance cameras in one quick movement. He slipped between patrols, weaving through obstacles like a ghost.

Every now and then, Maxim's voice filtered through his comm, reminding him of a guard's location or a hidden camera, but Pietro hardly needed the help.

He circled the perimeter of the base, disarming alarms and disabling key entry points with such speed that the guards didn't even realize their systems had been compromised. The base, for now, remained unaware that anything was amiss.

"Second tower offline," A.N.G.E.L.'s voice rang again.

Pietro smirked as he raced toward the central compound, pausing only briefly to disable the last security system protecting the main entrance.

"Too easy," he muttered, his heart racing as adrenaline surged through him. A fleeting moment of pride flickered in his chest, but Maxim's training had drilled one key lesson into him: never get complacent.

Finally, Pietro's voice crackled through Maxim's earpiece, "Perimeter's secured. Your move."

Maxim's lips twitched into a smirk of his own as he watched Pietro blur across the base's final surveillance grid, vanishing into the treeline. He turned to Wanda, who stood just behind him, her crimson aura pulsing faintly beneath the surface of her suit.

"Your turn, Wanda," Maxim said, his voice softer now but filled with expectation. "You ready?"

Wanda took a deep breath, her hands flexing at her sides as she felt the chaos energy within her pulse in response. Her hair glowed red as Chaos Magic began to run rampant around her.

"I'm ready," she said, her voice steady.

Maxim's mask shimmered slightly in the dim light, his eyes locking onto hers. "Good. Pietro's done his part. Now it's your time to work. Remember the mission, extract information, eliminate anyone necessary, and leave no trace."

Wanda nodded, her expression hardening as her red energy began to swirl around her fingertips. She stepped toward the exit hatch, the wind from outside tugging at the edges of her suit, making her crimson aura glow brighter against the darkness.

Before she could move, Maxim spoke once more, his tone lighter but firm, "And Wanda, don't hesitate. Hydra doesn't deserve mercy."

Her gaze met his, and she gave a single nod in response. "I won't."
