I infuse the energy into the sword while moving close to the treant I am going to fight. These treants have good vitality than the monsters of the same grade and their defense is also strong. It will be a miracle for me to even scratch them which can't be healed within a minute.
We will have to find a weakness in their defense or a way to kill them faster than they heal which I am not sure if it is possible. But I know for sure, Nolan and Jack knows how to kill them as they are looking as calm and composed as they have been ever since we have entered the Death Valley.

I cover the ten meter distance between the treant and me swinging my sword at one of it's two branch like hands only to realize how hard it's defense is. I can feel the vibration in my hand due to the raw power of the attack, still I don't see a scratch on it and my attack failed miserably.
I am unable to leave nothing but a tiny line on it, even with the permanent boost of the first set of the battle exercise. I have to activate the Ice Armor which I think will be an overkill defense for these E grade monsters, but it will also give me a boost in my attack and agility which might help me to kill this treant.
I immediately activate it without a second thought and I also put the shield I have been having holding in my left hand into the holowatch so I can use both my hands on the sword to increase it's damage even more. I also started performing the battle exercise.
This is my first move of the second set which is going to be more painful and difficult than the first set. But it doesn't matter as it will increase my battle power. With all my trump cards active, I again swing my sword at it, this time focusing on it's other branch.

To my surprise, the result was still the same except the scratch was a little deep and broad which was healed by the monster within a few seconds. I am not sure what else I can do as these are the only skills and methods I am fluent with and I can't do anything with it.
I look at Dawn who is also having the same issue, even with her incredible attack power, she is still unable to inflict any notable damage to the treant she is fighting. We have to think of something or else we will be getting a one-way ticket to the other world sooner than we can say 'Hello'.
The treants started attacking by swinging their branches at us which we are able to dodge with ease, thanks to their low agility. They have good vitality and defense, but their agility is very low we can compare it with the turtle that I fought with when I was just a newly awakened.
It was the only advantage I can see in this chaos. I am in full defense mode trying to see if I can win the battle of attrition against it which is the least I can hope for. I am able to dodge it's attacks without issues because of my speed and I can see Dawn is also doing the same.
I look at Jack and Nolan who are monitoring us from a distance hoping they would give us some tips to kill these monsters, but they are only smiling at me with confidence in their eyes.
"There is a weakness to these monsters. We have to find it and soon." Dawn says to me while I go close to her so we can try to watch each other's backs in this hopeless situation.
We continued dodging and defending the attacks for almost thirty minutes and I am not sure how long we can hold them like this. I can feel my endurance going down and for every attack I block or dodge, my body is screaming in pain.
The attacks of the treants are getting more and more aggressive as they are starting to get amgry since they are unable to land a single hit on us till now. I feel I will be able to find a blind spot or it's weakness if this continues and I will be able to keep up with their growing aggression.
BANG.. THUD.. THUD..
The treant again swings it branch at me which I couldn't block as my sword is already entangled with it's other branch. The attack hit me at the hip and I am thrown a meter away. I get back on my feet after hitting a tree which broke my 'flight' only to see the treant's body shimmering as if it is laughing.
Only now I notice a small yellow fruit like orb dangling inside the hole that is below the treant's eyes. Till now I have hit all the part of it's body and could leave nothing but a scratch on it which is healed almost instantly.
This gives me another opportunity and a little hope in killing this monster after this long fight. I see Dawn is coming towards me dodging the attacks and I wish she would concentrate on her fight first instead of splitting it to check on me now and then.
How I wish she would be like my teammates will do the things I saw, which are important without giving me a headache which I don't need. I just shake my head knowing this will be an unfulfilled wish to the very end and start to focus on the yellow fruit of the treant.
It again started coming towards me with it's branches swinging like it wants it to be longer to hit me from where it is standing. I got a little dangerous, foolish but a courageous idea which needs more patience and perfect timing to execute.
I hope Jack will not give me a lecture on how stupid my battle tactics are once I perform that move and finish this long and hurting one-sided fight. I will have to wait for the right time to execute this idea and hopefully I will be able to kill this treant.
