Acting like a Hero

I see my targets followed by a group of ten people what looks like they are hired to keep them safe in the wilderness which in a way proves my doubts of a spy being in the Obsidian Shadow. All of them are in High-E grade which will make it difficult for me to handle, if I don't use the bronze armor.

At first I didn't want to use it as I feel like I will be able to handle my targets with the help of the 'Ice armor', but now with the ten more people, it will not be as easy as I expected and will have to give in my all to complete this mission and get my revenge.

I give them a head start and start following them after five minutes and since they are walking towards the Saminga, I can follow their tracks easily which they are too careless to cover. I move a little fast as I have to catch them before they enter the swamp or I will lose their tracks for good which I can't allow to happen.

I get close to them whey they reach the swamp. I don't want to attack them here, so I continue to follow them keeping them within the twenty five meters to sense what they are doing in the swamp.

I hope they will not try to attack any unlucky hunter before they reach the center of the swamp so I can unleash hell on Kavin and Mike. I do not wish to hurt others as they are just people hired to protect them, but I am prepared to do what it takes if they interfere in my revenge and mission.

I follow them for three hours and they start going around as if they have no idea where they are going. I feel a little confused because of this as they will not be coming out with these many men without planning where they are going to go.

After a few minutes, I realize why they are moving like this. They are following someone whom they have targeted to attack. This ruins my plan to attack them later in the center area and I will have to attack them now to protect the hunter they have targeted.

I move fast to intercept them before they hurt their target so I can protect ad serve justice to all the innocent they have killed.

I immediately wear the bronze armor and take the longsword out from the holowatch. With the enhanced speed, I reach them within a minute. I can see them surrounding a group of six hunters who are all in Mid-F grade.

Surrounded by twelve higher grade hunters they look scared, except for one kid standing in front of his team looking determined to fight to the end.

I climb a nearby tree and go to the top and jump down at the center, right in front of the kid who is determined to fight them even in front of all the odds stacked up against him. The kid who reminded me the day I met these two people in the Bamboo forest.

Seeing a new guy covered fulling in bronze armor with a longsword, both the groups put up their guard even higher than before as they do not know why I jumped in. They also couldn't see my expression as the armor has covered me from head to toe.

I casually stand, look at the kids behind me and tell them "Relax kids, I am not here for you." And look at my intended targets 'Kavin and Mike' raising my longsword towards them saying "I am here for you. Your days of atrocities are coming to an end."

Hearing that, I can see a relief on the faces of the kids and serious expression on the ten hunters who were escorting my targets while I see a mocking smile on them.

Kavin, who is a sturdy and burly person takes a few steps forward saying "You, going to end us? A puny E-grade threatening us?" I can see his uncontrollable rage on his face clearly wanting to kill me immediately. This gives me a core point to know they do have a spy in the Obsidian Shadow as not many people know I am in E grade as I have learned to mask my power level from others.

Mike, who is a moderate looking person with curly hair pulls him back and murmurs something in his ears. If it was someone else, they couldn't have heard them, but with the help of my increased senses, I can hear him clearly saying "People do have their own colorful ways of doing the dumbest things. Let him first face one of our boys, we can play with him later to make him beg for merciful death."

While saying this I can see a sinister smile which makes him look like a Grimm reaper. Hearing that, I see Kavin is also smile which gives me a feeling he has already started to think of the ways he wants to torture me.

Hearing that, I want to know who they will be sending out to fight with me as it will tell me how serious they are thinking about me.

After smiling for a few seconds, Kavin loudly says "Sham, go forth, make him beg for mercy." looking at a moderate looking man with curly hair and fair skin. I feel disappointed seeing this as the guys 'Sham' is the least powerful hunter in the entire group and they are sending him to fight against me as I am in Mid-E grade.

I didn't raise my guard and casually look at him and say "You better be sure you want to do this, if you start attacking me, there is no going back." Even though they see me standing casually, one can feel the threatening voice which is muffled by the armor.

Hearing that, Sham just smiles and approaches me taking attack stance with caution. I can see him being more cautious towards me, but I can sense him using his defense and strength skills that is giving more durability to his skin and muscle.
