Lily didn't remember much of what happened at the time of the explosion. Everything from that time was swallowed up by the unbearable bang and eyeball-burning flash. All she felt was immense pain, fear, and the pull of a piece of armor, but she wasn't sure if she had mistaken it for a shock wave. The chances were very high. After all, she had suffered a tremendous shock back then.
In any case, when she opened her eyes, she was lying on the ground and pressing her trapped in ice block hand against stomach, which hurt like hell. She was also shivering, but that was the least of her worries.
She tried to stand up, but all that came out was a slight jerk of her head, followed by a skull-shattering migraine and nausea. The deadly combination forced her to close eyes again, which didn't help much.
