Chapter 150

At this time, night had fallen completely.

Jiraiya had just finished guiding Naruto through a day of training and was chatting casually with Ebisu.

When Kirito, disguised in ANBU attire, suddenly appeared, Jiraiya instinctively sensed something was off. His sharp intuition flared, but he couldn't immediately pinpoint the problem. He asked indifferently, "What's the matter?"

"Lord Jiraiya, I finally found you. Hokage-sama requests your presence," Kirito said respectfully, bowing slightly.

"Of course he does. Apart from the old man and those other fossils, I guess no one has the nerve to command you ANBU guys anymore. So, what does the old man want?" Jiraiya asked with mock annoyance.

"It's related to the events involving Orochimaru and Fujiwara Kirito today," Kirito replied.

Jiraiya's eyes narrowed, and a knowing smirk spread across his face. "Ah, yes. That Fujiwara kid is quite something. Not every day you see someone nearly corner the Third Hokage himself. Truly a new era."

As images of Kirito in his black-and-red Akatsuki robe flashed through his mind, Jiraiya couldn't help but marvel at how such a capable young shinobi had been pushed out of Konoha. What a waste of talent.

"Please come with me to the Hokage's office," Kirito continued.

"Yeah, yeah, I got it. These things are always troublesome, aren't they? Go ahead and let the old man know I'll be there soon," Jiraiya waved him off dismissively.

By the time Jiraiya arrived at the Hokage Building, he found the hallway outside the Hokage's office unusually crowded.

"Hey, what's with the gathering? Why is everyone here?" Jiraiya's booming voice broke the tense silence.

Looking around, he saw the heads of Konoha's major clans—Hyuga Hiashi, Nara Shikaku, Yamanaka Inoichi, and Akimichi Choza—all standing uneasily. Their expressions were a mixture of confusion and apprehension.

The clan leaders turned to Jiraiya, visibly relieved by his arrival, as if they'd just found their lifeline.

Shikaku stepped forward. "Jiraiya-sama," he greeted.

"Ah, Shikaku, long time no see. So, what's going on? Why are all of you standing around here?" Jiraiya asked casually.

Shikaku hesitated before responding, "We were summoned here by Hokage-sama."

Jiraiya raised an eyebrow. "If the old man summoned you, why are you all just waiting out here?"

"Well..." Shikaku glanced at Hiashi, Inoichi, and Choza, who all shared the same troubled expression. Finally, as if making a collective decision, Shikaku sighed and said, "It seems... Hokage-sama might be... preoccupied."

The truth was, they had all arrived half an hour earlier. However, from within the Hokage's office, strange sounds—moans, laughter, and occasional gasps—could be heard. While no one dared to voice it, the experienced leaders knew exactly what such sounds implied.

Combined with the strong scent emanating from the room, the entire scene was deeply unsettling. As a result, none of them dared to enter.

"What do you mean, 'preoccupied'? Don't tell me he's up to something indecent like peeping again," Jiraiya joked, but his laughter faltered as he noticed the awkward silence and the clan leaders avoiding his gaze.

His curiosity piqued, Jiraiya approached the office door. Under the uneasy eyes of the gathered clan heads, he pushed the door open.

The sight that greeted him was utterly shocking.

The Hokage's office was in disarray, filled with the overpowering scent of heather. And there, in the center of it all, were Sarutobi Hiruzen, Danzo Shimura, Utatane Koharu, and Mitokado Homura—completely disheveled.

Danzo's right arm, which was covered with multiple Sharingan and infused with cells from the First Hokage, was fully exposed. Even the bandage covering his forehead was gone, revealing yet another Sharingan.

The other three were equally scandalous in their state of undress, as if caught in the middle of some bizarre ritual. Their flushed faces and guilty expressions suggested they were still coming to grips with what had transpired.

The clan leaders standing behind Jiraiya were equally horrified. Their gazes darted between the exposed Sharingan on Danzo's arm and the disarrayed state of Konoha's most senior officials.

Danzo, realizing the gravity of the situation, panicked. He hastily grabbed a torn piece of clothing from the floor, covering his arm and eye before forming seals with trembling hands. With a loud puff of smoke, he disappeared from the Hokage's office.

Sarutobi Hiruzen and the others, still reeling from the effects of the illusion, finally regained some semblance of awareness. Their eyes widened in collective horror as they noticed the open door and the crowd of clan leaders gathered outside.

Jiraiya, recovering from his initial shock, quickly closed the office door. His usual carefree demeanor was gone, replaced by a cold seriousness.

Turning to the clan leaders, he said, "We've been tricked. Someone deliberately staged this to expose Konoha's leadership."

Shikaku, still processing the scene, asked, "Who could have orchestrated something this... elaborate? And why?"
