"Where were you? Your classes were over hours ago" The coldness of his tone sent shivers down my spine and I couldn't make a simple sentence to answer him I was at a loss for words I was opening and closing my mouth like a fish gasping for air "Answer me" that loud voice boomed in the entire house it echoed in my ears I could feel my racing heart. "I was with a friend of mine she needed some help with her classwork because she couldn't attend the classes today," I said in almost a whisper "Okay then call her, let's see," he said looking at me with challenging eyes this sentence almost made me cry I was going to get beaten up today and it will be bad when he comes to know that not only did I leave my house without informing anyone but also went to a cafe which would only mean that I went to meet up with a boy. I was shaking as I dialled Siya's number. I just hoped that she wouldn't pick it up, but I think luck was not by my side today. She picked up on the 5th ring and, in a very cheery voice, said, "Already missing me?" I couldn't say a thing because my phone was snatched away from my hands. "Hello dear, I am Adah's father; Adah was telling me that you needed her help with your classwork?" "Yeah, uncle, she did help me with my class work as I was not present today for the classes", she said in a confused tone. "So, was she with you this evening?" This question made my heart rush. I could feel my palms and neck getting sweaty even though the weather was freezing; I just started at the phone. Siya was silent for a moment and then replied with a very curious tone, "Yeah, she was. Is there a problem, Sir? Is she alright?" I almost jumped in joy and let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. "Yes, she is completely fine; I was just calling to check on her. Don't worry, bye, good night", my dad said in a sweet tone which was completely fake because I could see it on his face. He handed me back my phone but grabbed me by my wrists tightly. This was going to leave a bruise, and he yanked me towards himself. "If you go anywhere without informing me or your mom, you are dead", he threatened me and pushed me towards my room. On my way to my room, I saw my brother standing in the hallway, looking at me with pity in his eyes. I completely ignored it and shut my room door quietly behind me.
I quickly opened my messages and typed in a message to Siya
To: Siya
I am so sorry my parents are strict
He just wanted to check where
I was this entire evening...

it's completely fine but where were you?
To: Siya
We will talk tomorrow about this but thank you for this.....Good night

Yeah, it's fine but tell me the truth tomorrow and at least give me a warning before that...I was scared shitless about what I should answer

I kept my phone aside and went to take a bath I looked at myself in the mirror and my eyes fell on his jacket it was way too big for me, it was not that I was short but he was huge like a literal giant so his jacket reached my mind thighs and I was using his cuff as A thumb hole. I hated to admit it, but I liked the smell of it, and I won't ever admit that I was standing before the mirror sniffing his jacket for an entire minute, after which I took a nice warm bath and washed his jacket. I will have to return it to him tomorrow.
After a long 30 min bath, I lay on my bed scrolling through my phone. I saw Tamas's friend request, and I decided to accept it, not because he was a friend but because I wanted to inform him that I would be returning his jacket. I dropped a quick text
To: Tamas
Hey, I will return your jacket tomorrow just meet me at 1:00 after our lectures, at the library.
I hit send and slowly started sipping my warm green tea. I heard a ping, and I surely knew it was Tamas messaging me, so I quickly opened my lock screen, and I was right. It was a message from Tamas, huh? Wait, it was not a message but a picture. I clicked on that picture. I sprayed the entire room with the contents in my mouth and almost threw my phone across the room, but I didn't do that because I couldn't afford a new phone. HOLY MOLY, WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST SEE? My eyes were out of my sockets they looked like a cartoon character. after the shock faded away, the only emotions I felt were anger and rage. I was pissed beyond limits. The picture he sent me was a picture of him but the issue was it it was not a regular picture he was sitting on his big ass bed completely naked and his thing was The only thing that was covered with this white bed sheet laying between his thighs but his legs, waist, chest and arms were on complete display his face was not in the picture and it was a mirror selfie. But when I picked up my phone to message him he had already deleted the picture and there was a new message

I am sorry this picture was not supposed to be for you, but I accidentally clicked your notification, and I sent it to you because you messaged me at the exact moment. I am sorry!!!
What is wrong with this guy? Why was he sharing such intimate pictures? And with whom? Why do you even care Adah? Because I couldn't explain the feeling when he said that ...I was just not in my right senses I needed to sleep so I decided to ignore his message and go to sleep but I couldn't get his body out of my mind those beautiful tattoos running alongside his arm and on his neck, his broad chest, muscular arms, those abs perfectly carved on his body, and his V line oh heavens his V line and a line of hairs running down..... I flashed my eyes open with horror WHAT WERE YOU EVEN THINKING ADAH? OH MY GOD I NEED HOLY WATER; NO, THE HOLY WATER NEEDS ME. I wanted to die for even thinking about it I hated that picture so much. But the way I was clenching my legs together spoke the truth I was so ashamed.
