The weather in this day is perfect for a walk outside of my rented shelter. In the outside you can feel the harmonious and lively atmosphere that emitted by people whose purchasing their daily necessities and childrens playing. The perfect blue sky above gives a positive vibe for my upcoming plan for a new life and goals to achieve sooner or later.
I'm Nares Morphus, and was living here in this universe for more than 800 years after being swiped by a red and black light. Before that period, I was just an ordinary third-year college student living a repetitive life at school and planning to earn a college degree.
After being transported into this world by the red and black light, I was shocked and nervous because of the abnormalities in the situation that happened to me. I looked at my surroundings and prepared for the worst, but that changed when a virtual panel appeared in front of me, it only shows me data information and would rarely proposed a suggestion because it is not utterly flawless. It showed me that this area was currently safe and would rarely give me advice on how to live in this world. I was teleported where you can see tall trees everywhere and a sounds emitted by the unknown insects.
After calming my anxious heart, Nares decided to search for edible food and items for self-defense. The forest was rich in resources, and he found something to eat within a few minutes: a dozen dark blue fruits, about half the size of a fist, with a few tiny bumps on their outer layer. He also encountered a plump, insect-like worm, as well as creatures resembling rabbits with strange patterns and birds with symmetrical color patterns. I had difficulty capturing these creatures due to their speed, but fortunately, these creature were easily catch off guard as they seemed to lack quick reflexes, suggesting they have no natural predators.
The virtual panel seems to have infinite information about this world, which allows it to differentiate substances that are edible for human consumption. As the days go by, I find myself enjoying the situation I am currently experiencing. It is vastly different from my previous repetitive life. I am slowly accepting my current reality and adjusting my mentality, knowing I cannot return to the past. If you were to ask me whether I want to go back, I would genuinely decline, because I've realized that I truly enjoy the journey and discovering new things that didn't exist in my previous life.

As Nares ventured deeper into the forest, he encountered a small tree that reacts defensively by revealing its thorny roots when someone enters its range. The small tree has palm-sized blue leaves and rough bark, indicating its long existence. It bears a single fruit at its top, which it fiercely protects.
The virtual panel provided some information about this plant "It has a sense of wonder and offers a slight boost to physical strength. However, once the fruit is plucked, the tree will deteriorate and it will only dependent on other factors to overcome the decaying state, and eventually start a cycle of bearing fruit again."
He decided to pluck the fruit. As he approached the tree, its thorny roots began to creep towards him, trying to entangle his body. He quickly increased his pace, remaining vigilant for any additional threats while plucking the fruit. After successfully obtaining the fruit, he moved to a safe distance and examined it. When he felt it was safe, only the he ate the fruit with anticipation.
After about 10 seconds, he felt a strange energy flow through my veins, significantly strengthening my body. However, this strength rapidly dissipated and vanished after a few minutes.
The virtual panel says "It needs a method to efficiently absorb the mystical property of the wonder or an abnormal physique that automatically converts the mystical properties of the wonder."
Nares was disheartened because it was his first time experiencing such strength, only to be afraid and realize that he was not the protagonist but merely an ordinary person who had been unlucky enough to be transported to this new world. Determined to protect himself, he equipped defensive and offensive tools, covering himself with the tree's old bark and wielding the 2-foot-long thorny roots as a weapon. With his preparations complete, he continued to explore the forest for useful resources.
As Nares ventured further, he encountered a 3-meter-long purple snake with a pointed chin. It moved in a straight line and was quite fast, so he was focused intently on it. Knowing that being bitten would be disastrous given his ordinary status, Nares quickly attacked the snake with my thorny root weapon, striking it twice to ensure it was defeated, then struck again to confirm its death.
The virtual panel appeared again, stating, "This type of snake is slightly poisonous but fatal to normal humans. It moves in a straight motion and is edible if you remove its head and venom gland. It provides nourishment for the physique."
Over the past two months, he has developed a sixth sense, though it's not always accurate. It helps him determine if an area is safe, especially when cooking. After killing the snake, Nares used my sensing ability to ensure that there is no dangerous creature that will appear while grilling the snake. Once Nares confirmed there was no threat, he grilled the snake using my jungle cooking skills. Despite the unpleasant taste, Nares already adjusted and became accustomed to it, as he needed to eat whatever the virtual panel deemed edible to avoid hunger. In his previous life, he had only eaten poultry, pork, beef, and fish, but now he readily accepted any food that was considered safe.
After eating the snake, Nares felt an unknown energy flow through him, which he referred to as "nature's vitality" because it came from nature and everything that he consumes have the same type of energy from a wonders, that is mystical plant or other creature that contained just a bit trace of energy. Unfortunately, a largely significant portion of this vitality dissipated within minutes. Over the past two months, as Nares continued to eat wonders, his body began to grasp and convert nature's vitality into strength. Although the absorption rate was minimal, around 0.0002%, Nares was still pleased with the gradual improvement in his strength and adaptation to this world and its natural energies.
