Sara let out a visible sigh of relief as if she had come up for air from the deep beyond. They were finally home after a long and tiresome day. Her body relaxed, and a subtle smile on her lips.

"Is it wrong if I ask you to carry me?" Sara said, her voice came as lazy as she felt. Alex raised a brow at her, making her purse her lips. "You said you have enough strength to last a night while I have none," she whined, sounding like a little girl asking for a favor.

Alex chuckled but said nothing. He opened the car and quickly went around it to her side. "There is nothing wrong with wanting to be carried. I am more than capable of doing that," he said as soon as he opened the door. Leaning forward, he unbuckled her seat belt. "Hold tight, Wife."
