Chapter 9: Kaido enlightened and end of battle

___

On Navy ship

The commander aboard the Marine ship couldn't believe what he was witnessing. "Oh my God, how has Kaido become so powerful in such a short time? They're both monsters. I hope the brat back home works as hard as these two."

Little did the Kaido know that his performance would soon become a child cause of great suffering. after all which parent doesn't compare his child to others.

As the commander was lost in thought, an officer called out, "Sir, a ship identified as Kaido's Ship ghost can be seen approaching from 180 degrees to the right!"

"Keep observing them if they approach us or island tell me"

"hai"

On south of Suoshwan island as a ghost ship approach island.

"Mr. Wali, Captain is fighting rear admiral kuzan should we go there"

"No, wait untill captain call us or someone try to interfere, boss hate interference in his fight the most" As he said it there fear in his eyes

On the ship a boy with black wings on his back was watching the fight with star in his eyes 'Soon I will be like them, teacher kaido promised me'As he thought so he grip the handle of the Katana hanging on his waist.

The battle continued for another six hours, each fighter showing no sign of backing down. Using every moves in there arsenal, Kaido knew that the Navy headquarters were about 9 to 12 hours distance away. He began to contemplate a retreat, realizing that reinforcements could arrive at any moment.

Kuzan, noticing Kaido's expression, understood his opponent's thoughts. He knew that the man in front of him wasn't someone who could be easily captured. "Ara Ara, thinking of running away? Why don't you try my new move?"

"Who said anything about running away?" Kaido retorted with a savage grin. "I'm going to beat the crap out of you! And I've got some new tricks of my own. Take this!"

As they prepared for their final clash, the environment around them changed dramatically. On Kaido's side, the island seemed to be engulfed in flames, the ground itself burning like the depths of hell. On Kuzan's side, it was as if an ice age had descended, freezing everything in its path. Even the ships at a distance could feel the change in atmosphere.

Kuzan formed a cube of ice between his arms, covering it with a massive amount of Haki, while Kaido released a torrent of fire from his mouth, enveloping his body in a shape of fiery armor with help of cloud. He then clad his hands with Conqueror's Haki, black lightning crackling around him, visible from hundreds of meters away.

They charged at each other once more, time seemingly slowing to a crawl.

"Take this-Time Capsule!" Kuzan roared.

"Navy bastard take this-Dragon Scale Attack!" Kaido bellowed

As Kaido charged toward Kuzan, he struggled to clear his thoughts, focusing on his heart and trying to recall everything he'd learned about Haki from the memories of the original Kaido and his previous life. In that moment, it was as if he had been enlightened. His body and willpower fused, unleashing a massive wave of Haki. What once flowed like a gentle stream now surged like a raging flood, slipping through the smallest cracks and destroying everything in its path. This was the advanced form of Armament Haki—internal destruction. Although different from Wano's Ryuo, which focuses on sudden bursts, Kaido haki combined it with an external release, creating a continuous flow of raging Haki that sought to penetrate the enemy's defenses and explode like a grenade from within.

When their attacks collided, it was as if the world itself was ending. The island cracked, and a massive pit, three square kilometers in size, formed with the two warriors at its center.

After the shockwave settled, a single shadow was seen soaring through the air like a rocket, disappearing into the ocean. Only one figure remained standing amidst the devastation.

"Hurry, find out who's still standing and who's in the ocean! If it's Mr. Kuzan, rescue him immediately!" the commander ordered, his voice tinged with panic.

The young scout raised his telescope, his hands trembling. After a moment, the dust cleared, and the figure on the island became clear. Kaido was standing tall, his eyes burning with ferocity, staring directly at the scout. The boy's soul seemed to freeze under Kaido's gaze, his breath caught in his throat.

"Hey, what's wrong? Why are you sweating like a river?" the captain asked, noticing the boy's pale face.

With great difficulty, the boy replied, "Sir, it's Kaido. He's still standing... and he's heading toward the ship on our right."

"Let's go! Rescue Rear Admiral Kuzan!" the captain ordered. But when they turned to the commander for direction, they found him frozen like a statue, muttering, "It's done... We're dead..."

Suddenly after hearing boys report, the commander's expression changed to one of relief. "He's not attacking... He's not attacking!" He started laughing like a madman, overjoyed at their narrow escape.

After a minute, the commander regained his composure, silently thanking the heavens for sparing their lives. He vowed to live better and honest life, to serve the people with renewed dedication. "Let's go save Rear Admiral Kuzan!" he ordered, as the crew rushed to their duties.
