CHAPTER 40

Tate came out of his house and headed to his new training ground which was some blocks away. It was an old basketball court which was no longer in use. Before people would gather here to play basketball, but now it was just an abandoned place where kids come around to play.

Tate had the opportunity to train here because the kids were never around in the morning and early afternoon. The kids came around in the late afternoon and Tate was usually done with his training then.

He chose here because the place was wide, not that it had anything that could aid him in training.

Tate arrived at the basketball court. He went straight to the middle and began his meditation by looking at the clouds.

Other martial artists would probably be training with the best equipment now, but here he was training with nothing but the wind.

Anyway, he didn't need any equipment because there was no greater tool than the system.
