Cocoyasi Village

"Ahh! Hot! Water!"

"Water!! What'd you do—why can't I move?!"

Chew's screams echoed.

Struck by Weiss's lightning, he lay stiff and numb, writhing on the ground, struggling to rise.

Bang!

A heavy foot slammed down!

Chew, mid-stand, hit the dirt—flames roared hotter.

Weiss's boot pinned his back, unscathed by the blaze.

"Ahh, it burns! So hot!"

"Damn lowlife human—get off!"

Chew thrashed, but the foot held like a mountain—no budging.

Desperate, he spat water, dousing some flames.

They flared back, his reserves drained!

"Filthy human—don't fear Brother A-Long's wrath?!"

Out of tricks, skin scorching, Chew threw A-Long's name as a threat.

He gasped—suffocation loomed.

No water, he'd die!

"Hey, A-Long?"

"Soon, he'll join you below."

"No—all the A-Long Pirates."

"Scout the way for your 'great' brother and kin!"

Boom!

Weiss's face froze—his right leg surged with power, stomping hard!

A crater sank—Chew's eyes bulged, blood gushing.

His back caved with the ground!

"Heh… Brother A-Long… won't spare you…"

Chew's last, bloody gasp trailed off—pupils dimmed, venom glaring at Weiss.

First A-Long Pirate officer—down!

"So… strong!"

"Fishman officer Chew—no fight in him!"

Nami and Nojiko gaped, stunned.

Chew—killed like a toy?!

They'd pegged Weiss as tough from talk—this was raw proof.

He'd wiped out an officer harassing them!

"Nami, Nojiko…"

Outside the orchard, Genzo rushed in—villagers' urgent tip: Chew and three fishmen hit Nami's place.

Fearing harm, he arrived to—

Not Chang Wei brawling—but Chew and his goons dead in a flash.

Genzo froze, jaw slack.

A fishman officer—navy-proof—dropped like that?!

Who was this jaw-droppingly handsome kid?

A master Nami snagged overseas?!

Rubbing his eyes, Genzo believed—real as daylight!

"Nami, Nojiko—what're you—?!"

Genzo approached, still reeling.

"Hey, Weiss!"

Nami snapped back, glancing at Genzo.

Her head dipped—gloom veiled her face, emotions a tangle.

Low, she asked, "Weiss, can you really kill A-Long?!"

She'd started buying his claim.

"He's crazy strong."

Chew—a cat to Weiss's mouse—dead easy.

Maybe he could take A-Long?!

"Of course—didn't I say I'm tough?"

Weiss turned, smiling at Nami's grave resolve.

"Though A-Long's decent—in the East Blue."

"First half of the Grand Line? Just a solid pirate."

"Wait—he's a fishman from under the Grand Line's sea, fled here!"

Nami, Nojiko, and Genzo gawked.

The A-Long Pirates—weaklings?!

To them, invincible demons!

In Weiss's mouth—Grand Line rejects slinking to the East Blue?!

Shock rocked them.

"Really?"

Nami muttered, dazed.

Even A-Long couldn't hack the Grand Line—bullying weak East Blue humans instead!

Their worldview crumbled—Weiss shook his head at their struggle.

Closed-off info did that.

"Nami, want revenge? Come with me—I'll give you the shot to kill A-Long yourself."

"Your reward for saving me, taking me in."

Weiss strode toward A-Long Paradise.
