Acnologia's shadow swallowed the sky, his roar shaking the Tenrou Forest to its roots. Weiss tightened his grip on Lisanna, her breath shallow against his chest. Hades' laughter cut through the chaos, venomous and triumphant.

"You see, boy?" The Grimoire Heart leader spread his arms, the Tenrou Tree's energy swirling around him like a corrupted halo. "Even dragons kneel to despair!"

Weiss ignored him. His veins burned from the thorn's poison, but the system's cold voice anchored him.

"Fool!" Hades' staff slammed into the earth. Vines erupted, thrashing toward Weiss. "You think you can defy a god's will?"

Lightning erupted from his free hand, searing the air. Hades blocked it with a barrier, but the force sent him skidding back. Above, Acnologia dove, his maw opening to unleash oblivion.

Natsu slammed his fists together, flames roaring. "Then we punch that lizard harder!"

A surge of water suddenly drenched the battlefield.

"Sea King's Vortex!"

Weiss landed beside them, his scales shimmering with saltwater. The spell wasn't meant for dragons—but it stalled Acnologia's breath attack, steam hissing where water met annihilation.

"You're alive!" Lucy grabbed his arm, relief flooding her voice.

"Miss me, blondie?" Weiss smirked, but his eyes stayed locked on the dragon.

Erza's sword blazed with light. Natsu's flames fused with Gray's ice, forming a searing comet. Lucy hurled her broken keys, their residual magic igniting like stardust.

The attacks struck as one.

Acnologia howled.

Hades' Last Laugh

As the smoke cleared, Hades emerged from the tree's shadow, his hand fused with the Tenrou's trunk. "You delay the inevitable! Zeref's—"

A blade pierced his chest from behind.

Mirajane stood, her Satan Soul form crumbling, tears streaking her demonic markings. "For Lisanna."

Hades choked, black blood bubbling from his lips. "Anomaly… you… will…"

The ground split. The Tenrou Tree's roots recoiled, and a portal of light engulfed Hades' body, whisking him away.

Aftermath

The guild regrouped in the ruins. Lisanna clung to Mirajane, while Elfman's booming sobs echoed ("MY SISTERS ARE TRUE WARRIORS!"). Weiss leaned against a shattered pillar, his arm bleeding freely.

"You're reckless," Lucy muttered, pressing a bandage to his wound.

"You're welcome," Weiss shot back, though his tone softened.

A sudden whoosh cut through the air. A portal swirled open—not his own. Out stumbled Nami, her clima-tact sparking, oranges spilling from her bag.

"Weiss! That bastard Arlong's crew is regrouping, and—oh seas, where am I?!"

Lucy froze, her gaze darting between Nami's flushed face and Weiss's. "Who… is this?"
