A Ghost And an Angel.

After Jack became a Fallen Angel, his nights became considerably longer. He didn't need to sleep as much as before and he had access to another form of magic. He still liked the Human Magic as through advanced calculations he could use magic to do anything.

Through Fallen Angel magic, it was more forceful and less control so each had their use. Becoming a Fallen Angel had no negative sides for him except he had to quit the football team.

Even before, as a human, it was hard enough for him to restrain himself with his Superhuman body. Now as a creature that was better than humans in every way, if he kept playing sports with normal 10-year-old children, there would be chances for accidents.

When he told his Father he no longer wanted to do sports, Jack Sir was a bit disappointed his son no longer wanted to do sports. However, he didn't try to force him or anything as he assumed there was a reason.

Now that he wasn't playing in the football team, Jack wanted to spend that time training as he wanted to advance up the levels of Fallen Angels. The highest was being a Seraph like Azazel with 6 pairs of wings.

Five more than he had now, but with enough effort and training, he was sure he would advance soon enough. There was one problem, however, he didn't take it into account. Currently, a month after he killed Raziel, he was walking to school with Aya who noticed something.

"Hey, Jack'O, are you bigger than before."

He had to look down at Aya since he was just so much taller than everyone else. Part of that was just his natural genetics, but the other was the fact that he had started his magical ascension at a young age. His genetics and DNA had adapted to the stress so he grew larger.

Aya on the other hand was Japanese, but she was above average in height as she was 4'11. Close to five foot, but still compared to him who was 5'7 she was tiny. The issue he was having was that his muscle mass had started to increase so he was more muscular than before.

"I think so. I have been lifting more with my dad."

She reached up and patted his back seeing what he meant.

"My dad won't let me do that, he said I wouldn't grow."

Jack thought about it.

"I think that is a myth."

Hearing him it seemed that she had an idea.

"Good to know."

He shook his head as for as smart as Aya was, she didn't like being told no. As for him, he let her ramble on while they made their way to school. Once they made it to school, he had another regular day.

The school was rather boring as his intelligence had overshadowed the 5th grade curriculum so he often didn't bother with his classes. During lunch, he was sitting at his desk with one of his mother's American-cooked meals.

As he was eating a double-decker burger with extra bacon, fries, and a coke, Aya sat next to him eating a bento lunch. As she saw him bite into his food, she smiled as she leaned over.

"Hey, do you think the story of the Ghost in the girl's bathroom is real?"

He raised an eyebrow at this.

"A ghost?"

She nodded as she recounted the story.

"The story of Hanako said to live in the girl's bathroom in the third and you can summon her. It is a challenge that people do. Want to try it?"

"Nope."

She started poking him in his side with a cheeky smile on her face.

"Are you scared? You are so big and a ghost story scares you. I will do it, I got dared by the other girls."

As she was talking, another girl who was sitting nearby turned over.

"Don't, she will drag you into the toilet. My mom said she drags you to Hell and to never do it."

Hearing that made Aya gulp so Jack grinned.

"Oh, a little ghost scares the brave Aya."

She scowled as she sped to eat her lunch.

"I will show you."

Just as she was going to storm off he reached out and grabbed her by the back of her shirt.

"Hold your horses, if you want to do this dumb challenge I might as well go with you."

He ate the last bite of his burger before chugging down his coke. He packed up his lunch box before he and Aya left the room. As they did so the teacher reminded them of the time they had.

"Lunch ends in 20 minutes. Be back before them."

Jack nodded.

"We'll be back before then Miss Kure."

The teacher let them go with that so Aya and Jack made their way to the third floor which was above them. They then went to the girl's bathroom which was a bit weird for Jack, but Aya just pulled him inside after checking no one was inside.

Once they were in the bathroom, Aya looked at Jack looking a bit apprehensive. He crossed his arms as he looked at her with a shit-eating grin.

"You doing it?"

She scoffed and grinned.

"Duh."

She walked toward the third stall. She knocked three times before asking the question.

"Hanako are you there?"

Jack didn't know what to expect, but he didn't sense anything special. Neither did Apophis so it seemed that it was a bust. Even after waiting a few moments nothing happened.

Aya snorted as she kicked the door.

"Lousy stories, I knew it was fake."

Jack shrugged.

"If you want to see a real ghost, just go to a graveyard at 3 AM. You have a better chance there than in a new school building. This school is just not old enough to have a ghost. Plus, the light is still on."

Aya blushed as she walked toward the light before turning it off. The moment the restroom got dark, Jack felt the shadows grow under his control. He could see like it was day, but Aya could not. It was too dark which made her get nervous.

"Uggh, it's kind of scary."

Jack now in his element of the darkness seemed to vanish into the shadows. She started looking around as Jack seemed to vanish from his position.

"Jack?"

He snuck behind her before he grabbed her shoulders.

"RAHHHH!"

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

She shrieked and started throwing mad punches in all directions. She even threw several kicks in her terror.

"It's just me."

"JACK!"

He chuckled as he released her shoulders with a laugh.

"You should have seen your face. Anyway, you still want to do the game?"

Aya took a deep breath to calm her nerves.

"Yes, Aya Akagi is no coward."

She walked toward the third stall now her eyes getting more used to the dark. She knocked three times before asking again.

"Hanako, are you in there?"

Jack didn't expect anything, but contrary to his beliefs, he sensed something. An actual ghost appeared in the stall.

"Yes, I am."

Aya was about to freak out, so he rushed forward and put her to sleep with a spell. As she passed out, the shadows wrapped around her and pulled her toward his open arms. Once he had Aya, he saw how the stall opened up and a small girl with a bob haircut emerged.

She seemed angry he took her target, but he just scowled.

"I am not one to mess with so fuck off."

Ignoring him, a bloody hand emerged from the toilet, but he just smirked as the darkness in the room fell under his control. The shadows formed spinning spikes that shredded the bloody hand.

Hanako seemed shocked as she had yet to encounter someone with magic. He raised his right hand and his Abyssal Eclipse Gear appeared on his right hand. Apophis from the look of it was intrigued.

[A genuine Ghost from a story. What fun.]

The shadows in the room wrapped around the legs of Hanako and began to drag her toward Jack. The spirit gasped as she struggled to hold on.

"NO!"

Jack ignored her cry as the shadows grabbed her arms and neck and pulled her harder. He held his gauntlet out and pulled Hanako into the gem of his Sacred Gear.

"There we are, one lest ghost."

---

Jack was going to deal with Hanako later, but the ghost currently appeared in Jack's soulscape. The small girl watched as her hands sunk into the black sea that formed the energy of Jack's soul.

When she pulled them out she saw her fingers fall apart as her essence was drained. Even worse was that she could see something huge swimming in the black water which then emerged as a titanic serpentine black gem-encrusted dragon.

"What a tasty morsel. You messed with the wrong individual didn't you know."

Hanako shook in horror as she gazed up at the titanic form of Apophis, Dragon of Chaos and perpetual enemy of Ra The Sun God. Her horror ended soon as Apophis with a mouth teeming with glittering fangs swallowed her whole.

The spirit of Hanako was gone after that simply because she messed with the wrong individual.

---

As for Jack, he carried Aya out of the bathroom after turning on the light. He set Aya down outside the bathroom before snapping his fingers. She instantly shot up fully awake.

"Where is the ghost?"

He smirked as he patted her head.

"Ghost, you passed out halfway. Come on, let's get back to class."

She rubbed her head as she could have sworn something happened.

"Right."

---

The rest of the day after Aya summoned a ghost went by without issue. Apophis got a treat so she was quite happy with that. When he made his way home, he finished off any homework in a jiffy before he returned to his training.

Other than that, his life remained mostly peaceful with him able to progress in his training. Now, he tripled the intensity of his physical training as he needed to stimulate his new bloodline.

He heavily relied on the Boost which Apophis appreciated as it allowed her to further study Ddraig's secrets. Through that, cheat, he trained twice sometimes three times a day breaking his body down only to essentially regenerate it better than before.

This caused Jack to continue to develop physically into an imposing individual. His Father was particularly proud that his son was going to possibly surpass him in height. Even his Mother was quite impressed with his growth rate and how he took after his Father's genes.

Good parents after all would be happy that their children would surpass them. Nevertheless, Jack all things considered didn't have an eventful time in his elementary school days.

When he graduated the 5th grade in April, he had grown his second set of Fallen Angel wings in a rather short amount of time. This increased his Fallen Angel abillities substantially especially since his Fallen Angel genes were being stimulated by his Sacred Gear and constant training.

When 6th grade rolled in August around he was still ten years old as his birthday was in September. He had another month before he turned 11, but he was still taller than before. He now stood a proud 5'9 and stood out even more among the small Asian boys. He expected 6th grade wouldn't be very special, but on his first day of 6th grade which was the last year of elementary school in Japan something did change.

That morning when he and Aya were walking to school, he noticed someone out of the corner of his eye. Someone that was looking at him and he most certainly knew who that man was.

'Is that Azazel.'

Azazel was sitting in a restaurant outside seemingly just enjoying his food. However, Jack knew better than that and knew he was here to obverse him.

"Hey Aya, I will catch up, I forgot something at home."

She chuckled.

"See you there, don't be so forgetful."

She ran off so Jack walked into the restaurant before he walked toward Azazel. He sat himself down at his table and he smiled.

"Mind if I sit?"

Azazel smiled back as he looked up from his food.

"Sure, I don't mind."

Jack leaned forward and clasped his hands together.

"Good because I think it is about time we met, Azazel."

Azazel drank from his coffee while looking at Jack.

"You know who I am?"

"I do, I also know what you are. Or should I say what we are?"

Jack released a tiny portion of his aura which gave him away as a Fallen Angel. When Azazel noticed that he laughed.

"Will you look that that? I came here because I heard a report of a possible stray Fallen Angel in Tokyo, and it turned out to just be a kid. Guess one of mine had you."

"Not exactly, but good enough for now. I have been wanting to meet you for a while. I am Jack, by the way, Jack Owens, though my friends call me Jack'O."

Azazel was just curious about one thing.

"Question, how old are you?"

"10, I turn 11 in a month."

Azazel looked at Jack in disbelief as he was huge and jacked no pun intended.

"Really? Damn lucky I guess."

Jack did like his good genetics as it helped him to be bigger in a fight.

"I know, but I will cut to the chase. I want to join Grigori."

Azazel shrugged as he was going to offer that anyway.

"Sure, I don't mind. I am always searching for Fallen Angels born to humans so welcome aboard. However, when you released your aura earlier, I felt something. You have a Sacred Gear right?"

Now, he had Azazel's interest so he could lay out his cards to get better perks.
