Chapter 159: The White Light

Lin Luoluo glanced ahead and could clearly see a surge of white energy rushing toward her.

Boom—

A deafening explosion rang out. The body of She Junba was blasted into pieces, and Lin Luoluo had already dodged to another side. She gazed at where she had just been standing and immediately recognized it as an attack from another Martial Master-level warrior.

Her eyes narrowed, and a flash of killing intent appeared in her gaze.

"They're trying to steal that sword," Ye Fan muttered as he noticed one of the Martial Masters reaching for the Crimson Blood Sword, only to be attacked by another Martial Master. Even Shang Pei had joined the fray, casting a glance at Lin Luoluo as he fought. His expression seemed to remind her of the agreement they had made before.

Lin Luoluo didn't care about their tussle. She had no interest in the sword. After all, she had already gained what she desired in this place.

"There should still be more areas to explore," Lin Luoluo murmured to herself as she started walking further ahead. She was certain that the secret realm wouldn't end so easily.

The other Martial Masters, seeing Lin Luoluo walk away, breathed a sigh of relief. If she had chosen to fight for the sword, they would have had no choice but to attack her together.

Trusting her instincts, Lin Luoluo moved toward the back of the giant sword, where the path grew dimmer. Other warriors, realizing they couldn't compete with the Martial Masters for the sword, followed her.

As Lin Luoluo reached the far end, she found something surprising. It wasn't a dead end but rather a massive door, with an enormous black iron lock hanging on it.

"A door…?"

Some of the warriors approaching also noticed the door, their faces showing signs of surprise. As they drew closer, they noticed that the ground around the door was starting to emit a faint glow, as if energy was converging toward the area.

"Could it be that the Crimson Blood Sword is needed to break this lock?" Ye Fan speculated, observing the scene. That sword's sharpness could likely rival his own, making it a formidable weapon. But if there was a direct contest, Ye Fan was confident that the other sword would be the one to break first!

Lin Luoluo calmly studied the door. Without hesitation, she drew the Soul Severing Sword and struck at the iron lock.

Bang!

With a single strike, the iron lock was deeply cracked. Lin Luoluo did not stop. She continued swinging the sword down again and again.

Bang, bang, bang—

Each blow was accompanied by a loud crash and sparks flying from the impact. The surrounding ninth-rank and eighth-rank warriors watched in shock. The iron lock, clearly forged from a rare and durable material, was slowly but surely being split by Lin Luoluo's strange sword.

Boom—

Finally, with one last resounding strike, the iron lock broke into two, falling to the ground with a heavy thud.

Lin Luoluo sheathed the Soul Severing Sword and placed her hands on the giant door. Using all her strength, she began to push.

Creak, creak, creak—

A strange sound echoed as the massive door slowly opened. Bright white light spilled through the crack, growing more intense as the door continued to move.

"So bright…" Some of the warriors shielded their eyes from the dazzling light.

Lin Luoluo squinted as the intense light temporarily blinded her, but her perception quickly confirmed that there was no danger inside. With a final push, the massive door opened completely.

A wave of white light flooded out, enveloping Lin Luoluo.

It felt warm.

Lin Luoluo relished the sensation, the warmth spreading through her body.

"What's inside…?" Ye Fan muttered, unaffected by the blinding light but unable to see past the glowing brilliance. "Though these white rays seem to be filled with energy…"

He marveled at the energy these lights carried.

Lin Luoluo, grasping the hilt of the Soul Severing Sword, swiftly began absorbing the white light. Thanks to her All Attribute Enhancement ability, she absorbed the energy at a much faster rate than the other warriors. While most were still recovering from the shock of the light, Lin Luoluo had already consumed a large portion of the radiant energy.

In just a brief moment, the white light began to dissipate completely.

"We barely absorbed anything..." Several warriors, finally coming to their senses, lamented their missed opportunity. Most had instinctively stepped back, fearing traps or hidden dangers, while others were simply blinded by the light. Only a few had realized that the light contained valuable energy.

Huff—

Lin Luoluo let out a deep breath, a look of satisfaction hidden beneath her mask. She had reacted the fastest and, being at the front, had absorbed the majority of the light's energy. If one looked closely, a faint glow of white could be seen coursing beneath her skin.

Even though she had absorbed a vast amount of energy, she had not yet fully digested it. Still, she wasn't in a hurry to process it all just yet. Instead, she pressed onward.

"Hurry, follow her!"

The other warriors scrambled to catch up. They had already missed out once; they couldn't afford to be left behind again in case more treasures awaited inside.

"What's this…?" As Lin Luoluo ventured deeper, she discovered another passageway, one that twisted and turned out of sight. Without hesitation, she advanced into the dark tunnel.

Boom—

Suddenly, a loud explosion echoed from behind her once again.
