Alexandria Academy & My Manor

"Look Darius! I can see the city!" Ankha said excitedly as she stuck her head out the window on her side of the buggy making me do the same on my side.

"It's so beautiful…." I couldn't help but marvel at the sight of the city in the distance that shined like a gem under the desert sun.

As I said before the city of Alubarna is split into two parts, the Merchants/Commoners District in the south and the Academy/Noble District to the North, besides what I had mentioned the Commoners District is where the Power Plant is located using a mixture of solar powered energy that is enough to keep the city powered in the sunny and cloudless days year round and the Power Plant uses Nuclear Energy to Power the Cities Night Life.

Though the Power Plant is active during the day but the Energy it generates is set to the bare minimum and its output is increased when night comes as the amount of additional energy the solar panels can store is minimal at best.

But soon enough we were crossing through the Merchants District as we followed the main road northwards to the Bridge leading to the Academy District.

Though there was a checkpoint that stops all from entering the north without a pass, the emblem of the Sphinx which is my clans symbol, was emblazoned on the Buggy and thus knowing we were from the Sphinx Clan and considered within the Confederation to be equivalent to nobility, the checkpoint soon opened the gates to let us pass on through.

Compared to th Merchants District, The Academy District was not spacious in both its roads and buildings with said buildings sporting a harmonious mixture of modernity and traditional housing styles to them to give the proper aesthetic for a city in the middle of Earths Largest Desert.

We could see the academy in the distance and its architecture made it stand out the most as it nearly replicated the look and feel of the Taj Mahal itself, though instead of being large singular building with a rather onion shaped dome to it, there were several additional buildings connected to it.

And that was none other than Alexandria Academy itself, named after the famous Library of Alexandria as it was a place of learning where most of the Tribes children would come to learn up until 12 years old with only the tribal heirs staying in the academy until 16 to learn about various political standings within the confederation, the formation of bonds between clans and both internal and external threats to the tribes along with the proper teachings in how to lead ones tribe as well.

Though the first 5 years would be understanding the basics like math, reading and writing, along with combat training to improve the strength and physique of those that attend to properly be able to defend themselves in times of need.

While the confederation is relatively safe, those that go rogue from their clans can end up joining the Feral Tribes and use information the traitors gave away to cause problems all around until they are properly dealt with.

And not to mention the rumors of a Cult of some kind hiding within the depths of the dunes doing who knows what, but it's unconfirmed if they really exist or not at this current time.

But soon enough we had arrived at our Tribes manor where the servants of the tribe, those that weren't of the highest standing within the tribe go to be servants in Alubarna for the tribe just so they can attend the academy and make a name for themselves later on in life within the tribe.

"Welcome Master Darius, Lady Akila and Lady Ankha, to the Clan Manor of Alubarna, I am Alana and I shall be your head steward in your time residing here."
