Chapter 16 - Reward
They return to the City. The children was brought within the Adventurer's Guild, they say that they will escort them to their families after being healed. The three of them returned to their apartment.
"Who would have thought we will get to fight side by side just after meeting for a day hahaha"(Kelvin)
"I also didn't expect this to happen."(Astelle)
"Coincidence."(Argus)
"Do you want to eat? Unlike what she normally act, she is a very good cook even rivaling the top chefs! Please try it!"(Kelvin)
Astelle glared at Kelvin with but Kelvin ignored her.
"I will not take that offer. There's too many things happened to me this and I'm really tired. I just want to sleep. I will gladly take that offer tomorrow though. Goodnight."(Argus)
Argus is not physically tired but mentally. His day was full, he hunts from morning till dusk. Then this evening he fights mobs, push his minds to the limit level in finding and destroying the magic circles weak point, and experiencing excruciating pain.
Now that he returned home he does not have the motivation to eat and he just wants to lay in bed. After taking a bath and changing his clothes Argus immediately jumps to his bed then closed his eyes to sleep.
{Kelvin's POV}
After Argus entered his room. Her sister immediately pounce on him.
"What are you doing? Why did you say that?! It's embarrassing!"(Astelle)
"Ow ow ow ow, stop it sister. I apologize, I apologize. But you heard him right? He wants to taste your cooking tomorrow, isn't that good?"(Kelvin)
Astelle stop and she snorted.
"Hmph, he should be glad that he can taste a food cook by a very beautiful lady like me. The heavens must have bestowed great luck on him. Anyway I'm also going to sleep. Goodnight!"(Astelle)
Astelle did not wait for his reply and she immediately run to her room. The blush on her sister's face did not escape his sight though.
"Sigh... She did not even deny that she wants to cook food for him."(Kelvin)
Kelvin look at his Holowatch and started operating it. He called Mr. Stark and thank him for what he has done. After that he called another person from his Holowatch. He shakingly click the name of a person in his contact list.
'He will learn in sooner or later so I must inform him now.'(Kelvin)
"Hello Grandpa the thing is..."(Kelvin)
Kelvin proceeded to tell the events that take sthis night except of course Astelle having fall in love. Even he is not sure if that's what his sister is really fallen in love with Argus, only time will tell.
"...That's all I'm gonna say."(Kelvin)
Kelvin waited for his grandpa's reply. Every second past his heart beats fast. A sweat also slowly forming on his back.
"An Abyssal Servant wants to play with my beautiful Princess. He even threaten to kill her. He almost succeeded to die with him you say?!"(Grandfather)
"Y-yes..."(Kelvin)
Kelvin answered tremblingly, as if he can feel the other person's aura leaking on the phone. His body starts to tremble.
'No Kelvin get a grip of yourself, his far from you!'
He encourage himself.
"Anyway I'm glad that she's safe. As for her saviour I will met him 'personally' after I finished my business here."(Grandfather)
'I was also there you know! Sigh... Am I really part of the family?'(Kelvin)
"Yes!"(Kelvin)
"Also after we meet, we will undergo special training so prepare yourself. Understood?"(Grandfather)
"Yes Sir!"(Kelvin)
"That's all. Goodbye!"(Grandfather)
The call was terminated. Kelvin's face was so dark because of what his grandpa says.
"Why?! It's not my fault that sister fully runs into trouble. You did not even care for my well being. You ask me to undergo special training! That damn geezer!"
Kelvin starts spouting his inner emotions.
"Sigh... Only if I could say that to his face. Special training my foot, you just want to torture me."(Kelvin)
Kelvin reminisce to the gruel things he experience when he's young. His eyes started to moisten.
"I just want to learn new things! I don't need that training! Sigh... As if he will relent if I say that. Let's just sleep."(Kelvin)
Kelvin went to his bed to sleep.
{Argus's POV}
Early in the morning, 6:00 A.M Argus was woken up by the vibration of his watch. Someone was calling him and he answered it.
"Hello..."(Argus)
"Brother! Are you really alive? Thank goodness! I know that you have a tough life but you should not get yourself in to troubl-"(Rex)
Argus cut the call.
"Sigh"(Argus)
His Holowatch vibrated again and he answered it again.
"You're really bad, anyway I just came to check if you're fine. As for your Scythe weapon. I have still have not found someone selling it or someone possess a Scythe. I also ask my father about it but he said that Scythe User and Scythe weapon drops is very rare and hard to find."(Rex)
"That is fine. You do not need to busy yourself in finding my weapon and focus in leveling up instead. You might not be accepted to the Academy after all."(Argus)
"Okay. What level are you now? Do not be surprised, I'm already level 9 hehehe"(Argus)
"Level 9, huh. Okay, if that's all goodbye."(Argus)
"Wait! You still didn't tell what level you a-"(Rex)
Argus terminated the call.
"He almost surpassed me if that event did not happen. It looks like he's working hard. I will not lose of course."(Argus)
A smirk appeared on his face. Argus opened his storage ring and find the skill book the system rewarded them. By holding an item the system can identify what it is. Though not everything, the rewards received through the system can be identified.

Of course he also wants to tame a Unique Beast. That is every summoner's dream. Even the strongest summoner now may have only 2-4 Unique Beast Summons.
Summoner Class was entirely dependent on their summoned beast.
That is what almost the common people know. They label it an Average Class because of this reason. Another reason is that a depending on the rank of the summoner what is the limit of how many they can tame.
From what he knows, Common Class rank can tame 6 Beast maximum, Elite Class rank can tame 8 Beast maximum, Special Class rank can tame 10 Beast maximum, and lastly Unique Class rank can tame 12 Beast Maximum. The limit maybe less depending on how strong their summoned beast that they have contract with. They can break the limit as long as they possess a very strong soul.
You may think that possessing 12 Summoned Beast a Summoner can walk around high and almighty but that is only if your summoned beast is composed of almost Special Class beast or Unique. That is why if a news of a Unique Beast Infant reach a Summoner, they will immediately flocked the location of the news and will try their best to steal and tame one.
Argus starts preparing for his daily warm up routine. Half an hour past and he goes out of his room. He immediately smelled a very delicious food.
Argus saw Astelle in the kitchen wearing a cute apron while cooking breakfast. Astelle also saw Argus and a beautiful smile appeared on her face.
"Good morning Argus. Is your body fine?"(Astelle)
"Yes, there's no problem."(Argus)
"Before you go out have a breakfast first."(Astelle)
"No, I'm good."(Argus)
"You said yesterday night that you will taste my cooking. Is that supposed to be a joke?"(Astelle)
Astelle stared seriously at Argus. He also stares back. Not long after, Argus sighed and he sits down on the table. Seeing this, she became happy.
"Please wait for a minute. I will just serve the food."(Astelle)
Astelle then happily walk back to the question. She begins to get the plates and utensils, then the food. Argus just sat there and observe her work.
"Thank you for waiting. You can start having breakfast."(Astelle)
Argus nodded, he then scoop rice and the food that Astelle prepared and begins to eat. Astelle cooks fish, bacon, and egg for breakfast. Argus was surprised by the taste of Astelle's cooking, although all of the food are just simple. When Astelle saw his expression, her mood became more elated and she also starts eating. After a few minutes Argus finish his breakfast.
"Thank you for the food. It was delicious."(Argus)
"Y-yes. Thank you for the compliment. You can eat my cooking anytime."(Astelle)
Argus nodded, afterwards he stands up and go out of the house in the direction of the forest.
