Alyck's Return

It was a sunny dry day,hot winds blew around as a covered person walked into the chaotic black market.

This person was a long-sleeved shirt and pants to protect against the sun and sand.It's face was covered with a scarf while in its waist was a Takouba slip in the side.

" Do you know few days ago s group of hunters arrive here buying high grade weapons."

" Maybe they'll hunt the red desert cobra. It is said that when you catch it and drink its blood, any poison may be useless against you.It would make you reach it if you sell it here."

Loud growled off those werewolves who were in cages.This 6 werewolves were still teens in age. Their necks were tied with a magic control chain.

" Shut up, dogs!!. Werewolves for sale. 100 golds only!" A fat man yelled pouncing the cage making them silent and curling in the corner.

" I'll buy them all" a scarf man said holding a bag of gold coins. The fat man smirked and smiled glancing at the scarf built. He thinks he's rich and weak.

" Don't think about robbing me or you'll see your body lying 10 meters down in the ground" coldly staring at the fat man as a sharp sword was pointed in his neck. The fat felt fear and back away.

" A-ahh, I-I'm not thinking about that sir. You can have them all. Release them!"

A slim man with tattoos around his body followed his order making the werewolves looked at him gritting their teeth. He gives the keys to the scarf man after.

" Calm down and followed me!"

They followed him hesitantly. When they reached a secluded place.The scarf man take off her scarf.

" I'll be releasing you so better left this place"

" Who are you,why are you helping us" the boy asked.

" I'm Alyck Krion, and don't ask much. Do you have families?" Alyck said as she unlocked their chains. They werewolves transform into a human back.

" No they killed them as they take young ones and started selling us here." A girl spoke shyly bend covering her body.

" Light clothes enhancement!" Alyck chanted as clothes around their body appeared making them stunned.

" You're a mage? I'm Deter, anyway thank you for saving us." Deter gladly exclaimed. He wore white long sleeves,gray pants and black shoes covered with brown hood. They were the same attire while the girl tied her brunette hair into bond hiding it in her hood.In their waist were a long sword.

" Here ,a bag of gold would be enough for you to travel away from this place. Go to East a clan of werewolves were staying there. They may take you with them just tell them the named you're friends with Alyck and Tristan"

" How about you?"

" I can take care of myself. Go!" Alyck ordered as they nodded and left.

When the fat man happily grabs at the bag of gold he was holding the clank turned weird.

When he looked at it he was shocked,the gold turned into rocks.

" Bring that scumbag and take back those dogs!!" He said as he ordered his servants.

Sadly they lost them making the fat man growled angrily.

Alyck was walking back to the crowded place looking around for information where Tristan is.

Some were selling endangered species and high power armors and weapons.

From afar, they were men who had long sleeves and pants rolled until their knee. They have a muscular tan body as their movements in haste chasing a hooded man.

" Stop him! He's a thief" A beard man shouted.

People didn't mind much of it since it is always common in this place.

Alyck standing in the crossed street full of people who were interested in different things sellers had heard the loud shout from the man as he saw someone wearing a hood running towards her.

As a good citizen she tripped the running thief making him fall on the ground wincing his knee.

His groaned looks soft when he raised his head a lilac angry glared in contact with her gazed making her shocked. She realized that this hooded person was a girl. She has dark haired, lilac angry eyes and fair skin with gritted white teeth that want curse her.

" Stop him!" The men were closed but the crowded street made it hard to look where the girl went but the voice was enough making the girl anxious and panicked.

" Take my hand" Alyck offered her hand to the girl. The girl felt angry at the person who tripped her but she had no choice and held her hand dragging her up.

Alyck hugs her hiding her away from the vision of those men chasing her.

" Let's go there! " Another man pointed.

" Let's spread out!" The beard man exclaimed making them run in different directions.

When the coast is clear, she drags the girl in an alley.

" Let me go" the girl wincing in pain said.

" S-Sorry" the scarf man stuttered.

" Ugh!"a hard punch on the abdomen she received instead of thank you from the other leaving her alone. She groaned holding her stomach making her scarf fall down showing her face.

" We're even now, scumbag. Hmpf " the hooded girl uttered glancing at the dark haired with blue eyes smugly leaving her alone.

" Tsk, rude thief girl. I need to find Tristan and Magnus already."

Alyck walked out as she roams around until it came to night but she wasn't able to find Tristan.

She settled in a motel nearby to stay. As she lies down in a rattan bed she remembers how the other world bed so comfy to sleep.

"'What do you think living here for good?"

I was stunned by the question but thinking of having this life for good wasn't right for me.

All my years of training to death and the oath I made made me hesitant.

Years ago as I woke up after being stabbed on the chest by that man. I crawled out of despair as I always hear their cries and the smell of blood that filled my heart in anger.

If it wasn't for the family who helped me to stand up again,I wouldn't be here.

Tristan was there to lighten my views from darkness that envelope me.He was left in the desert after she was sunk down.She awed her second life to them. She can't abandon them with her new found family.

The comfort she had may lose if she stayed here.It would be better if those demons that destroy everyone's life should be gone.

Alyck thought and decided to go back.

" Aunt I'm sorry for the troubles but I need to go back. I have family who I need to protect there. My brother may be losing his mind now. "

Ulmer was stunned but controlled her emotion.

" Then we won't hold you. You can travel here, whenever you want. I, Ulmer bestowed upon the Light Magic to grant you access that connects our lands "

A light magic turns  into a silver bracelet with two dragons head in the ends making a lock.

" You can just say Waxon Realm,then you'll be back to your new home." She smiled and tap her shoulder.

" Thank you,Aunt"

Alyck heart felt lighter than before. As she found herself covered full of light.It felt lighter than before.

" Alyck are you really going?" Ulmer asked staring at her worriedly.

" I have to,aunt"

" Then I'll send you out then"

" Aunt Alyck, don't go!! Hu hu hu" Aaron cried hugging her leg.

" Aaron,let her go.She needs to go somewhere important" Ulmer stated pulling him away from Alyck.

Alyck felt sad for living them but she doesn't belong to their world. She bends down as she comforts Aaron.

" Aaron, I'm sorry for leaving you but I promise I'll visit you someday but until then you should train and work hard to protect your mom and mama ,ok? You should study and learn allot of things here.Be obedient to your parents and look after your sister too. You're a big boy now"

Aaron sob understanding and remembering Alyck said.

" I promise I'll be a good protector of all. When you come back, let's practice magic again " he answered smiling as his tears fell in his cheeks.

Alyck ruffled his hair bid her goodbye to them. Ulmer accompanied her to the cave as she was blessed to open the portal to their world.

" It's so frustrating I can't even hug you but please take good care of yourself,there Alyck" Ulmer said longingly as her tears started to fall.

" I will. You too,aunt" Alyck smiled and nodded and closed her eyes as the light blinded her.

Deep down in her heart, it felt good to know she still have family. She still need to accomplish her mission. As she travels and meets new friends it added to her book to protect them.

A solid heart that values people around you. A mind set to do better things for everyone will always be blessed by the light magic.

"Ugh! I can't sleep. I rather walked around."

Alyck went out and random walked on the street. Most stores were closed and only few were open like clubs and food stall. The moon may shine high but dark alleys were good place to do heinous crimes making Alyck plan to go.

" Wow, I never thought a girl like you would be so beautiful." a drunken wolf man blocking a girl.

" You're right, brother. We can accompany you home pretty" a hooded mage added smirking.

" Live me alone,asshole" she replied coldly.

Alyck sighed as she always encountering a girl being ganged. It was dark alley and hard to see any person inside.

" Hey,can you let her go?" I said and stared them down.

" Ha ha ha, you think we'll give her in. "

" I don't need your help, I can take them down" the girl said and a powerful purple lightning hit the two as a dark shadow eat them alive.

As the shadow disappeared the girl walked out towards Alyck.

" You again?" The girl blurted in annoyance.

The haired girl with lilac eyes appeared in front of her with her annoyance. Alyck blankly gazed back.

This girl earlier was weak but now I felt a strong lightning magic and faint dark magic.

"You really like doing dangerous things,huh" I commented.

" It's not your business, leave me alone. "she answered as she walked away.

Alyck sighed shaking her head and still followed the girl.

" Will you stop following me." The girl coldly spoke and even did not look back.

Alyck ignored her instead noticed few men were following them. In a corner few more men in black suit blocking them.

" Tsk! Until here you're following me. " The girl growled.

" You're really a walking disaster.How many men were trying to harm you,miss?"  Alyck said and walked towards her making the girl gaze at her annoyed.

Alyck can't believe how this girl ends up in a situation where she would be ganged up again but she can't cause large commotion here as she wanted to locate those illegal traffickers and the WIC's involvement.

"What do you plan to do?" The girl asked confusedly.

Alyck ignored it until she hug the girl's thin waist making the stunned and blushed. Alyck just stared at her blankly.

" W-What the-"she uttered as a smoke bomb erupted on the ground covering them.

It made those men attack but using it's too late as they escaped through the dark alley and flew towards the window of Alyck's room.

" You  can stay here, for now. It's safer here than in the street" I said as I let go.

" I'm sleeping with you?" The girl answered in disbelief.

" You don't have a choice.Stop complaining, instead just be grateful. You can sleep on the bed. I'll sleep on the floor.

" Hey, what's your name?" The girl asked.

" Alyck Krion,why?"

Alyck placed a mat and a pillow on the floor and was about to lie down when the girl asked. Her mat was opposite to the bed.

" Can I used your toilet?"

" Just do whatever you want just don't cause trouble."

The girl went to washed her sticky body and chanted a clothes enhancement. When she went out Alyck was already asleep.

As she went to bed, she glanced at the sleeping back of Alyck.

' You're not bad though'
