She was gone but she was irreplaceable. They had no idea that Keturah would mean so much more to the family after they had saved her. She was not someone to be easily forgotten. The idea was for her to reach the lab, meet up with her mother, and then work with her to develop an antidote that would put an end to the end of the world. They had not received any communication from her for a month. They simply had to assume that she was doing well and developing an antidote because they had tried to keep in contact but it was impossible.
