Not again!

"Kill them all!"

The content of the command didn't match the angelic voice, but Lee's only thought was 'Not again!'.

From the moment the dozen youths arrived it Pine Village he had a premonition that something disastrous was about to happen, or rather – he was absolutely certain, because they were people from the Cloud kingdom – the same bastards who killed him in his previous life. Of course, last time it had been the royal cavalry and not this particular bunch, but the price Lee had to pay was too steep, especially since he realized that the already brief moment he could see Lisa before his reincarnation had become significantly shorter.

It was his father, the current one, who reacted first. Just when the moron whom everyone called Drevin grabbed Annie's tit, father began to pull mother away. Lee, being only a couple of months old, was lying in her arms, and right when all hell broke loose, she pressed him so close that he had hard time breathing, to not mention seeing anything.

Lee felt his mother started to run, heard screams of agony behind them and then her shouting his father's name. But they didn't get far, despite father's futile attempts to protect them – he was a simple hunter, after all, and had no chance against these superhumans. Indeed, the last thing Lee saw was a flame pillar resembling a phoenix blooming in the middle of the crowd, confirming his suspicions – some of the youths from the Cloud Kingdom were similar to the strongest soldiers in their royal cavalry and wielded superhuman power. Unfortunately, unlike in the previous life when Lee as a teenager managed to kill a few of them, this time there was nothing he could do – he couldn't even crawl yet, let alone punch or kick anyone.

Of course, he had learned about the superhumans long before that. In what Lee referred to as his first life, he and Lisa met some men much stronger than these. Back then it was a huge shock at first, but they died to the advanced twentieth century weaponry nevertheless.

Sadly, Lee's current father wielded only a woodcutter's axe and couldn't offer any resistance. Judging from the mother's painful cry, the man was quickly killed, and right after, an arrow pierced his mother's chest. With her last breath, she pressed Lee even closer, instinctively trying to protect him – as if anything at this point mattered. Then she fell into the tall grass, on top of Lee, who could only continue to curse his own helplessness.

'Not again!' He repeated, his earlier panicked mood turning increasingly sour.

In his last life it was Lee's own choice to stay back and fight, and technically, dying was his own fault – just like all the times before that. Now, being only a two months old baby, he felt the world was too unfair. As if it were not enough that the arrow that killed his mother impaled his left shoulder, basically guaranteeing his death, he now lie under her lifeless body, suffocating.

Actually the main reason for Lee's bad mood was neither his physical pain nor the realization that he was about to die again, even though it was happening so soon. He was pissed that these morons killed his favorite parents and it was highly likely he wouldn't be able to get revenge. He had no clue how the reincarnation process worked, but this was his second life in this world, and back on Earth, he also had only two lifetimes, well, short ones, though interesting. But even if he was born here next time, who knows how old these idiots would be then!

After his first death, he was lucky and was born only a couple of years after he died. That was what allowed Lee to get his hands on the fat Russian for killing Lisa. But what if he was born fifty or a hundred years later? Most likely the youths who currently performed the genocide in the Pine Village would have been long dead.

And they killed his favorite parents! All the previous ones were kind of losers or didn't care for him much, so Lee wasn't particularly bothered by their existence. But after his last birth, he could clearly hear his father singing and dancing for several days straight, not to mention his mother whose lips never lost their contented smile, that is up to the few days ago when the bunch from the Cloud Kingdom appeared.

The best part about his current birth was that his parents weren't only thrilled by him coming to the world. They worshiped each other to the point that, even being their beloved child, Lee often felt like a third wheel.

Indeed, it all ended when the dozen youths from the Cloud Kingdom arrived. The previously serene Pine Village transformed into a chaotic mess with everyone scrambling to please the visitors.

The best huts were given to the guests who didn't shy off to curse the primitive dwellings of locals, but no one minded. Apparently, the Cloud Kingdom had just conquered the whole world, and it gave the youths the right to kick everyone from their homes. Even the village head had to vacate his, so that she, to whom the guests referred to as the most beautiful being in the world, could have somewhere to sleep.

Lee was only a newborn and his eyesight was not fully developed yet, but even he could recognize that that the pale redhead with creepy reddish eyes was an ugly fuck. Well, it was by his standards, obviously, and there was no way an albino could compare to Lisa who was at least eleven or even twelve out of ten.

Albino's voice sounded like a music though. She spoke rarely, but when she did, everyone around her held their breath. Lee wasn't sure if it was because of her crown princess's status or the tone of her speech, but it didn't really matter – people behaved as though they were hypnotized.

The first few days things were more or less fine. Guests felt like home, drank the booze locals brought and sat around the huge bonfire they made right in the middle of the village. Obviously, the village head's pleas to move the party elsewhere so that the village wouldn't get burned down were ignored.

A couple of youths threw some coins towards the man, paying for the potential damages in advance, and ordered more food and drink. It was accompanied by loud laughter from the others, but the old man looked lost at the worthless pieces of yellowish metal in his hand, realizing the useless material was too soft to craft arrowheads. In the end he could only sigh and ask his fellow villagers to comply until the bunch left.

Local men went out to hunt, but women continued to cook the provision reserves they had. As expected, the dishes were too plain for the refined taste buds of the guests, but despite their complaints, the food disappeared in their mouths along with countless jugs of beer.

While it was expected to replenish food supplies in the forest, it was impossible to brew more alcohol on demand in a short period of time. On the third morning the village was dry and youths had a small sparring competition. The loser, a guy named Drevin, who drank the most, was sent away to get more booze and returned in the afternoon with over twenty soldiers who carried barrels of alcohol and the party continued.

Soldiers were sent away and only two older people from the Cloud kingdom stayed with the drunkards, or rather – remained in the village. They didn't drink any alcohol and behaved rather politely, and fortunately their presence slightly calmed down the hotheads.

Actually, there were few others who didn't directly join the party.

The albino chick was one – apparently, her crown princess's status didn't allow her to get wasted alongside the others. Then, there were three sword-crazed guys who basically practiced the whole day. One of them was frequently interrupted by a couple of drunken girls, but he didn't shy away and brought them to his, well, previously a blacksmith's hut, often both at the same time. Strangely enough he didn't get tired and even seemed to be more invigorated by the disturbance. Lee's best guess was that he took the process as a part of training.

But besides the crown princess and the three guys who continuously trained, the rest were trying to drink themselves into oblivion. Eight youths, four guys and four girls, drank like there was no tomorrow. They didn't directly bother villagers, though, and generally used them as servants, and formally, things were bearable.

It wasn't until Drevin began to molest Annie that things escalated. While him grabbing her by the hand was tolerated, and her fiancé, Vince, even managed to hold himself back when Drevin occasionally smacked her bottom, grabbing Annie's boob was the last straw. The poor guy snatched axe lying nearby and swung at the pervert, who, purely on reflex, cut off the hand holding the axe first and then the furiously roaring head after that.

Lee couldn't really blame Vince. Annie and he were much like Lee's current parents – sweethearts who were planning to start a family. And back in the day, when someone dared to molest Lisa, something that was a common occurrence because of her looks, Lee never held back either.

The problem was the command that followed.

"Kill them all!" The crown princess's angelic voice ended the party in an even larger tragedy.
