HADE'S QUEEN (LA REGINA PERDUTA)

"You're so beautiful Athena, you're the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. The way you make me question how I have lived without you." he said as he kissed down my neck. 


My heart raced and the nerves flooded through me, but I pushed them away. I didn't care how, nervous I was, I was ready to feel his touch on my skin. Everything was building up to this. He kissed down my neck and onto my chest. 


"I'm so in love with you" he said still peppering kisses all over me. 


"I love you amore to the moon and back. My entire soul belongs to you, I believe it's always been yours; the stars are aligned to our favor amore." he said before he brought his plump lips crashing onto mine, devouring every part of my soul, knowing it belongs to him only. Claiming me as his. 


"I love you too" I said. Our lips met again. Every part of my body tingled with anticipation. I was so close to him. Every single inch of me was feeling his touch. I couldn't wait anymore. 


"Shh Athena, no talking here" he said as he picked me up bridal style and pulled me into his bedroom. He lay me down gently and started to peel off my clothes. 


My heart began to race as he bared my body and gazed upon it, drinking in every part of my skin. 


Erica Silva is my cover name, as for Selene hers is Laurie Silva, Arie is just Arie because there is no previous documentation of her. So it doesn't really matter if we use her real name. 


"Yes Jose, what can I do for you today?" I ask him. 


Jose is one of our most trusted ones, he is my boss, and he is my mentor too. 


"You have a meeting with Nexus holding at 2 pm and a meeting with Robert Garcia's wife at 3 pm" 


Against my better judgement, I decide to pick up Arie from school and drop her off home before I head to my meeting with the new clients. 


The traffic is not that bad today, so I arrive earlier than I was supposed to, I look for a parking spot before I approach the blond receptionist. 


"Hi, Welcome to Nexus Holding how can I help you?" she asks in a high pitched voice, I'm sure they're trained to do that. 


"Hi, I'm here for the 9:00 am meeting. I'm Mrs Silva the lawyer," 


"Oh! Please follow me this way" she stands up and leads me down a long hallway before reaching the elevator, and pressing the button, 


"So who exactly am I meeting, the board or?" I ask her. 


"I'm not allowed to say Ma'am, Company policy." she says before chuckling 


The elevator opens and we enter, she presses the 15th button and the elevator starts moving upwards, the bell dings and we swiftly move into another hallway, 


She leads me into a neatly furnished conference room, a long wood table, shining from the excessive cleanliness, reflective walls and a huge TV on the wall, 


"You can sit right here, and I'll let them know you're ready ma'am." 


"Of course," I say before sitting on the nearest chair. 


I wait for more than twenty minutes before the door opens, and finally the moment I had been dreading for the past seven years comes to pass. 


I glance at the door and in that split second my world freezes, my head starts spinning and the groggy feeling comes back, 


Next thing I feel is cold and immense pain, my face feels like its burning, 


And in no second, I'm back there again, in that filthy disgusting cellar. Fighting for my life all because of him.
