There is no greater sorrow than to recall happiness in times of misery.

-Dante Alighieri

ATHENA

I've been told that I'm fragile, easy to break, but all the years of torture and PTSD I would argue to say I was hard to break. I almost broke, but my daughter stopped that from happening.

But I've always wondered, fragile like what,

Glass or a bomb, I would say you get to choose what kind of fragile you want to be. As for what gets broken,

We as humans are the safest object that can ever be created. Nothing that has ever existed is more fragile than a human being. In my own experience, just looking at the enemy that I had to fight against, people I've had to kill, they weren't fragile.

The glass says that if you break, you'll be fine.

But a bomb says that if you're not careful you'll be splattered on the ground. I don't think I'm fragile, I just think I'm like my mother who once upon a time told me that I'd shatter like glass.
