“How was he able to bring a dead person back to life? I thought that it was only the goddess that had such powers,” I asked Ralph in utter shock.

“Alpha Lucas, we know your mate possesses the powers of the moon goddess. We have reason to suspect that her brother found a way to use those powers to his benefit when he took her during the lunar eclipse,” replied Otis,

another member of the council.

“During the lunar eclipse, we noticed some disturbances in the realm. It may have gone unnoticed by all of you but we noticed it. The seers confirmed a breach in the gates of the afterlife. A powerful entity was brought back to life, an eternal,” he continued.

“So what does this mean for our packs?” I asked.
