“I'm alright I promise. I was just thinking of how Dana would react seeing her mate all bloodied up. I'm glad to see you came through with your promise,” I said.

“I would do anything for you my love. All you have to do is ask,” Lucas said as he smiled at me and placed a kiss on my forehead.

I always loved the feeling his kisses gave me. It was like a tingle down my spine which made me feel more alive.

I hid the truth from him because I didn't want to tell him of my vision. Dana had already told him that my brother wanted him dead before he got a chance to mate with me and I wasn't about to tell him that I had a vision where Arnou actually succeeded in his plans.

Lucas brought his hand down from my face.
