Enzo and I barely make it to the pack borders before the trackers come into view. Judging from their faces, I knew the news they had brought wasn't so good.
They look so tired, which isn't surprising, they had been on the road for weeks trying to find Arnou and wherever he had set up camp.
I knew he was out there somewhere and up to no good as always. He was probably plotting how to hurt my mate. I know he was out to harm all wolves regardless of whatever pack they come from but he also knew that I and Rose were the ones destined to stop him so I knew for a fact that he had his eyes on my pack always.
The teachers had been traveling all night, and as I had asked them to return home immediately they found word of him without any confrontations. It wasn't their Job to destroy him, it was mine. It was my mate he hurt so only I get to snap his neck.
“Alpha,” Gerald, the leader of my pack trackers greets tiredly as he bends his head in a bow.
