Calista pulled into the JPD Agency parking lot, and the moment she stepped out of her new ride, jaws dropped all around her. Carly, who had been there the previous day, was astonished to see the same woman now radiating confidence and luxury. Calista was acutely aware of Kyle's wealth and how it could potentially launch her career, but she knew better than to rush things. She needed to bide her time carefully, fully aware of the consequences of acting too hastily.
She couldn't help but wonder about Kyle's prowess in bed; he reached places she didn't even know existed. The stereotype that rich people were compensating for something clearly didn't apply to him, but now wasn't the time for sexual flashbacks. Calista was quickly directed to Isabella, a woman whose majestic presence commanded respect. Calista understood that building a good relationship with Isabella was crucial for landing the best jobs.
"Calista Wave, was it?" Isabella asked while looking up her application on the computer.
"That is correct; I'm Calista Wave, and I was here yesterday…" Calista replied, her tone direct.
"I've reviewed your references and seen the movies you've been in. You have no experience as a lead, is that correct?" Isabella probed.
Feeling embarrassed, Calista nodded. If Isabella had watched those films, there was a chance she wouldn't take her seriously as an actress. "That is correct, but I am ready for the next step in my career, which is why I've come to you," she asserted confidently. Isabella appreciated her confidence but knew it took more than that to succeed in acting.
"Then you've come to the right place!" Isabella reassured her with an upbeat tone. At that moment, Calista realized that this woman might be her last hope for stardom.
Isabella checked her computer and found a few openings—more accurately, auditions—available. "Calista, are you ready to get to work right away?" Isabella asked, catching Calista off guard.
"At your command, ma'am!" Calista responded enthusiastically. Isabella smiled at her eagerness.
"Please, call me Isabella," she said with a broad smile that made Calista's heart race for a moment. Isabella was so beautiful that even straight women couldn't help but admire her. Regardless of everything else, Calista had taken a significant step in her career today.
Isabella kept Kyle's involvement under wraps; he had explicitly told her not to mention it. As the face of the Agency, he wanted to maintain that image without drawing unnecessary attention while he figured his life out.

A few hours later, Kyle finally woke up and headed for a shower. Midway through his steaming hot shower, the water suddenly cut off—a common occurrence that left him feeling unsatisfied. Tying his towel around his waist, he contemplated getting dressed before answering a knock at the door. He guessed it must be Mr. Jones returning from wherever he had been.
However, when he opened the door, he was met not by Mr. Jones but by Aiysha. Kyle immediately regretted his decision.
"O-Oh shit! I'm sorry!" he stammered as he quickly retreated to his room to get decent.
Aiysha let herself in and took a moment before Kyle returned fully dressed. "I came to inform you that the water would be out due to maintenance," she said lightly as she tried to ease the awkwardness. She saw nothing wrong with walking in on him like this; as a gym instructor, she had encountered far more compromising situations.
"Ha! You sure are!" Kyle replied before an uncomfortable silence fell between them.
"You know, you should consider giving the gym a try," Aiysha suggested playfully. Kyle found it hard to hold her gaze again; it made him uncomfortable so he opted to focus on the space between her eyes instead—not that she would notice.
"Are you saying I'm not fit enough?" Kyle asked with raised eyebrows as he playfully flexed his nonexistent muscles.
Aiysha burst into laughter; it was high-pitched and infectious. "That isn't what I'm saying! But it wouldn't hurt to bring out your body's full potential," she replied earnestly. Kyle agreed; it could also be a good way to pass time since something told him time would soon become scarce.
"I'll only give it a try if you're my trainer," Kyle blurted out without thinking. He meant it innocently enough but realized how easily it could be misinterpreted.
Before he could clarify his intentions, Aiysha responded with enthusiasm: "I wouldn't have it any other way."
