Drake walked towards the dormitory,
muttering to himself. "How did Xena get
direct scholarship? When the admission
trials were so tough. I will ask her later
when we meet during academic
activities. I need to get to my room
quickly to unpack and freshen up." He
headed towards a multi-building
apartment painted in dark blue with white
patterns.
As he enters, he sees various male
students come and go, preparing their
rooms. After five minutes, navigating
through the apartment searching for his
room, he finally finds a room with 27-J
written on its door and enters.
The interior, unlike the exterior, is
painted in light blue. The room is 6.50
square meters in size. A black wardrobe,
7 feet tall and 4 feet wide, with three
large doors, stands at the right corner of
the room. At the centre is a large bed
measuring 6 by 6 feet. Lanterns with
white crystal illuminated the room from
every angle closed to the rooftop.
Drake unpacked his bag, placing his
clothes, bags of money, and tent
backpack into the wardrobe. After
arranging his room for the past 30
minutes, he decided to take a shower to
relax and watch away his sweats.
He opened the door to the bathroom and
stepped inside. The walls and floors are
crafted with white marble. A bathtub with
a shower head seated just beyond the
doorway. Opposite the bathtub was a
water closet, and a washing hand basin
lined the wall near the entrance. This
made the mysterious world pique
Drake's curiosity.
"I need to fish out some information
about this world when the semester
officially begins." He muttered and
stepped towards the bathtub to clean up.
Meanwhile, in the principal's office.
Principal Logan is seated on his chair
while Professor Leo stands before him.
"Sir, with all due respect, don't you think
giving that red-haired lady a free ticket
into the academy is going too far?" He
said. His eyebrows wrinkled and his
teeth clenched.
Principal Logan rests his elbows on the
table and his chin on his hands. "Let me
tell you a little secret, you see. The young
lady you mentioned is not someone we
can offend. In fact, this is the first time I
experienced her cheerful side, and I'm
sure you get what I mean."
Their gaze locked for a few moments
before Professor Leo spoke. "Do you
mean that the side of her you
experienced today is related to the guy
called Drake? if I may ask who she is?"
Principal Logan rises from his seat,
walks towards Professor Leo, and places
his right hand on his shoulder.
"Perfect. That means if you don't want to
lose your life without knowing why or
how you lose it. It's best not to mess with
the lion's balls. About her identity,
knowing it will be more dangerous." He
nodded at Professor Leo.
Professor Leo takes a step back, placing
his hand on his chest, and bows his
head. "Understood, I will hold to your
warning." He said. Principal Logan
watches him leave.
********
Drake emerged from the bathroom, his
lower body wrapped in a white and black
towel. His skin glowed with a faint mana
emanating from his body, and his eyes
sparkled with the same energy.
He was drying his hair when a voice
interrupted him. "Wow, what a gorgeous
body. As expected of my Crux, which I
will hold a ritual with," Drake looked up at
the voice with his eyebrow raised.
Xena was seated on the bed; her hands
rested on the surface, flipping her legs.
Butterflies danced in her eyes as she
focused on Drake's body. "What? How
did you get in here?" He crossed his
arms over his chest and widen his eyes.
"I came in through the window since your
room is on the fourth floor." She replied
nonchalantly.
"What are you talking about? Don't you
know this is the male dormitory?" He
rhetorically said, tightening the towel
around his waist.
"I knew. That's why I didn't come through
the door." She pointed to the room door
with her right index finger, then to the
window. "But through the window."
Drake strided towards her, grabbing her
arms, and dragged her off the bed
towards the door. "Im not going
anywhere. Let me go."
Xena yelled, struggling to break free from
his grasp.
Drake swung the door open with his left
hand, which made his position closer to
the entrance, pulling Xena outside. "Just
get out of my room." Drake lamented.
He stepped outside as he pulled Xena
out of her room.
He noticed a group of male students
gathering at his doorway; their eyes
widen with curiosity, clearly eager to
know what's going on. The way they're
positioned made the situation appear,
misled the students, and caused
whispering to ripple through the crowds.
"Wait, is he trying to force her?"
"Since she's his fiancee, shouldn't just
he give her some time?"
"But isn't it too early for this kind of
drama?"
"I had a feeling there would be
relationship issues here in the academy.
There's always gossip about this in every
academy section, but I didn't expect it to
happen so soon in our year."
The murmurs of speculation continued
as the boys watched the scene unfold,
adding to the tension in the air.
Drake instantly released Xena, stepped
closer to the confused students. " You're
getting this wrong. She's the one who
entered my room without permission. I'm
just trying to get her out." but his words
fell on deaf ears.
Mark steps closer to him, wrapped his
right arm around Drake's neck and
whispers "Hey, pal. You just want to
carry out one or two with her. "
Drake sign heavily, shoved mark arm
away . " I will just get her out here to
explain." He entered his room, only to
find Xena gone.
She had already leaped out of the
window, navigating from roof top to
rooftop towards the principal's office.
She bursted through the window, starling
Principal Logan .
He raised his head, sweat etched across
his forehead. "May I ask what has
caused this dramatic entrance."
Xena annoyingly stepped closer and
slammed her hands on the table in front
of him. "The room given to me is not
unacceptable." Principal Logan leaned
back, resting his arms on the table.
"Alright, I will arrange for a new room." He
said, tapping his fingers together. Xena
shakes her head. "No, that's not it.I
mean, from now on, Drake's room will
also be my room." Hearing this, Logan's
skin prickled.
"Do you know what you're saying? I went
out of my way to get you a scholarship
because of our history." Logan
exclaimed, jumped from his seat, and
slammed his fists on the table as he
raised his voice at Xena.
This pushed Xena's buttons. " Hum.
Fine, I will just set everything ablaze."
She turned to leave. "Wait, do you
always have to burn down things?" Xena
turned and locked gaze with him.
Logan fell back onto his chair. "Fine, you
win, but you will have to be patient until
we can announce this to the students
during class activities, so as to not
damage the school's image." She raised
her right index and middle fingers, giving
him a peace sign. "Okay, smile ablaze."
She leaped out of the office.
