Lucky day

Asher's eyelids fluttered open; his mind clouded by the remnants of deep slumber. He stretched, experiencing an unusual sensation of buoyancy, as though his body had undergone a rebirth. Sitting up, he rubbed his eyes, attempting to dispel the lingering discomfort.

"Why do I feel that I wake from a deep slumber and feel refreshed?"

But something was different. He felt... enhanced. His senses were heightened, his thoughts clearer, and his body stronger. He looked down at his hands, flexing his fingers in wonder. They seemed more defined, more capable.

With a sigh, Asher headed to the bathroom for a quick freshen-up. After 20 minutes, he came out and went to his cupboard to change his clothes.

"I need to buy new clothes," he said, looking at the worn-out garments hanging in his closet. "And a pair of shoes as well."

After putting on his clothes, he went to the kitchen in search of food but found nothing. So, he settled for some water.

While he was reflecting on his dull and monotonous life, he heard a sound in his head, and a futuristic golden screen with words appeared on his retina.

[Ding]

[Reminder: >The host has yet to complete today's mission. Please complete the mission to obtain daily mission rewards.]

"Host? Daily mission? Rewards?" Asher was in complete shock.

Asher understood what was happening; however, he found it hard to believe. To him, it felt like a dream, an impossible wish that had come true.

It's a typical aspect of human nature. When faced with adversity, people accept it as it comes, but when fortune smiles upon them, they often question its reality. Asher is exactly that kind of person.

Plagued by doubt and denial, he closed his eyes, yet the same screen and messages lingered in his vision.

Upon opening his eyes, a grave expression took over his face, and he slapped his cheek firmly, leaving it nearly red and swollen.

The sting of the slap caused him to grimace. Ironically, the screen remained visible to him, both a curse and a blessing.

"That really hurts! I'm not doing that again... Now, for the final confirmation," Asher declared, his excitement mounting gradually.

"An easy road towards the peak of life"

Asher couldn't help but laughed at his luck.

'System, open gift packages.'

Finding a gift package, he decided to open it, hoping it would give him something to escape the imminent crisis.

Seeing the items before him, he couldn't contain his excitement and happiness, emotions he hadn't felt since his parents passed away.

" System you're the best"

[host it is system duty to make you happy and have an easy life]

"Oh, is that so."

" Alright system, can you explain what you can do, why did you choose me and what are you plan"

Asher had come across many novels where systems frequently have a scheme for when the protagonist attains the peak; at times they usurp their body, or they may tamper with their mind and wield control as if they were a puppet.

[ Host you don't have to worry about me, I am a system design to help host in every way and also when I merge with you, we merge together If you I die, I can't harm you]

[ As for the function I can do many things and for why I choose you I don't know host, when I woke up, I was already in your body]

Even though the system assures him that there are no hidden agendas, he can't shake the feeling that accepting the system might lead to future regrets.

If he is aware that his feelings are true, then by accepting the system, his life will be filled with many tragedies.

After pondering for a while, he concluded that there was nothing to lose; his life was already filled with misery.

"Ok system, first show me my mission for today"

Upon reviewing his daily mission, he was initially thrilled, but then a realization dawned on him that he was without any money.

[Host you didn't have to worry check at your inventory there is a credit card with 5 million in it.]

"Five... million?" He was in shock after realizing he had become a millionaire. As a poor college student, the knowledge of his newfound wealth left him feeling both scared and elated.

He is aware that, with the reward from his daily mission, money will no longer be an issue going forward.

"System how do I open inventory and will there be any problem in my card"

[Host you can open by thinking about inventory in your mind and also there is nothing to worry about the credit card as it has been taken care by system already, so don't worry and spent it]

Reassured that there was nothing to be concerned about, he returned to his room to change into his workout attire.

After changing into his workout clothes, he looked around his room.

'I will move into my new house tomorrow.'

Asher left his house to complete his first daily mission.

[Host has successfully completed his 1st mission rewards will be sent]

[100 point has been added to your system point]

The sound of a notification alerted Asher that his mission was complete. He pulled out his phone, read the message, and felt a surge of happiness. While working his part-time job, \$1000 was a substantial sum, especially when his monthly salary was only \$200.

After completing his daily tasks, he returned to his room to freshen up before heading to college.
