The corner of Ace's mouth twitched, and he instinctively wanted to reach out for support.
But as soon as his arm moved, he yelled, "Ah!"
"Gu la la la~ Ace boy, you've likely broken dozens of bones by now, don't move around," Whitebeard reminded him with a smile.
What?
Ace, hearing this, wanted to curse!
What kind of person breaks dozens of my bones with a single punch?!
"Ace boy, don't look at me like that, this is your elder brother's request," Whitebeard continued with a grin. "It seems like your brother wants you to lie down for a few months."
Whitebeard shrugged, as if to say, 'I'm just following orders.'
"How many months?" Ace asked, gritting his teeth.
Finn smiled slightly, "Do I really need to exaggerate?"
Ace groaned, sweating profusely. "Brother... I don't think Whitebeard's exaggerating, I'm dying of pain from moving even a little!"
"No! Wait a few minutes, you'll be fine," Finn said, patting Ace's shoulder before gently pressing his palm to Ace's body, feeling for the broken bones and injuries.
"Medical Ninjutsu—Super Rejuvenation!!!"
A surge of Chakra energy transformed into healing energy, flowing like spring rain into Ace's broken bones and wounds.
"Hey, hey, this guy—don't tell me he's planning to heal Ace right here?"
"Seems like it. After Ace fought Jinbei, didn't he recover quickly?"
"Don't be ridiculous! Jinbei's strike isn't the same as Daddy's blow. Ace only exhausted himself fighting Jinbei, but with Whitebeard, he's got broken bones all over!"
"If this can be healed so fast, that would be impressive."
"Impossible. Such healing skills don't exist! Unless the one using them is willing to overdraw their vitality, like a Healing Fruit user."
"Yeah, even if we're talking about Whitebeard's old wounds, that'd be nothing to worry about!"
The Whitebeard Pirates were certain that Finn's efforts would be in vain.
"Gu la la la~ Finn boy, don't waste your energy! The old man already said he'll lie down for a few months. He'll stay down for as long as he needs to~" Whitebeard laughed.
"If you heal from my blow in an instant, where's my dignity?" Whitebeard added, his voice full of mockery.
As soon as he finished speaking, Finn withdrew his palm, patting Ace on the shoulder. "Alright, my foolish brother, get up and try."
"Brother, my bones are—huh?" Ace began to protest, but then he noticed something shocking: all the pain in his body had vanished!
He tested moving and found that his bones felt completely healed.
"No way?"
In stunned disbelief, Ace slapped the ground and sprang up effortlessly.
Finn casually picked his ears, then turned to Whitebeard, asking with a smirk, "So, where do you put your old face now?"
Whitebeard stood dumbfounded.
Damn!
Just as he finished speaking, Finn slapped him in the face—figuratively!
Now Whitebeard was left with no way to save face.
"Is this... a dream?"
"How is his medical skill so incredible? Ace was like this, and he healed in no time?"
"I must be dreaming!"
Everyone was astounded as they watched Ace, fully healed and back on his feet. The sight left them in shock, as though their entire worldview had been upended.
Whitebeard, feeling embarrassed, quickly changed the subject. "Finn boy! You've already fought with my son. Now, it's time to fulfill your promise and fight me!"
With that, Whitebeard slammed the Cloud Cutter's handle into the ground!
"Let me show you! After that last humiliation, I'll make you lie down for a few months and see if you can heal yourself!"
Finn shook his head. "Don't worry! I already told you, I have no interest in fighting you, old and sick as you are!"
"What did you say?! Are you going back on your word?" Whitebeard roared.
"No, no, no. I just think, at your age, you're in too much of a hurry. Aren't you worried about developing Alzheimer's?" Finn shrugged, unfazed.
"I just want to strike a deal before we fight!" Finn continued with a grin.
"A deal?" Whitebeard frowned, clearly intrigued.
"Three billion Baileys," Finn said, raising three fingers. "To heal your old wounds."
"What?! Three billion Baileys? Are you trying to rob us?!"
"Three billion?! You think we're made of money?"
"If you really could heal my father's old wounds, that would be amazing! But three billion? That's too much!"
The Whitebeard Pirates were taken aback. Three billion Baileys was more than their total income for several years!
"Boy! Your medical skills are impressive, but my hidden wounds have been around for over ten years. They can't be healed!" Whitebeard shook his head.
"My young master says it's possible, so it must be! You, a medical amateur, don't need to question it," Finn said confidently.
"Boy, you're so arrogant!" Whitebeard scowled. "Even if you can heal my hidden wounds, I still don't want to do it. Three billion Baileys is better spent on my sons!"
"Not curing them?"
"Correct! The old man is past his prime!"
"Fine, then I won't fight with you anymore!"
With that, Finn picked up Ace and used advanced Moonwalk to fly into the air, determined to avoid Whitebeard's attempt to force him into a fight.
Seeing Finn leave so suddenly, Whitebeard was stunned!
He immediately shouted, "Boy! I just honored my word with you! Don't you dare break your promise!"
"Well, yes. I'm breaking my promise," Finn nodded casually, not at all embarrassed.
"YOU…"
Whitebeard's eyes widened, clearly taken aback by Finn's boldness.
Admitting he was breaking a promise so openly… simply outrageous!
Whitebeard felt like he'd been played, anger swelling in his chest. "Finn! You're a powerful man! Don't you even have the dignity of a warrior?"
"Well, no," Finn replied with a shrug. "Anything else? If not, my brother and I are leaving!"
"Wait!"
At that moment, Marco suddenly soared into the air and confronted Finn. He stared at him, asking seriously, "Can you really heal Dad?"
"Of course I can! I've already told you!" Finn said nonchalantly.
Marco's brow furrowed. "But you're not one of us. Why are you willing to heal the old man?"
Out of all Whitebeard's sons, Marco was the most "filial" and thoughtful.
He couldn't understand why Finn, someone unrelated to their family, would want to heal Whitebeard.
Finn chuckled. "Because only the peak version of Whitebeard is worth my full effort!"
