Don't Talk, Something Big Will Happen Later!

"Ding! Please choose:

1: Kill Reiju! Threaten to go to the Vinsmoke family and steal their technological power. Reward: 100-fold Preaching and Karma Card!

2: Let Reiju go! Take the initiative to show favor to the Vinsmoke family and ask them to share their scientific power. Reward: 300-fold Mission Card!

3: Seize Reiju as a hostage! Demand the Vinsmoke family hand over their technological power. Reward: 600-fold Preaching Cards!"

Finn stared in disbelief.

"F**k?!"

The rewards were that powerful?!

A 100-fold Preaching and Karma Card! That's exactly what he needed right now!

And the three options could reward him with six cards—enough to create a top-tier powerhouse!

Finn looked over the options again, incredulous. "Wait, is this for real? Talking my way through this? Is it really that easy?"

His mind raced, and with a thought, he immediately sent a transmission through the light-wave system of the super battleship: "963!"

"Soldiers of the Vinsmoke family, listen up! This is Monkey D. Finn, Commander of the Marine Independent Battalion. Reiju has been captured. Go back and tell that fool Kaji—if he's sensible, he should hand over the technological power he possesses. If he agrees, I'll let her go. If not, I might just take a few grandchildren from him!"

At his words, Reiju's body tensed, and her eyes snapped open. Not just her—Stracey and Kalifa, who had been detoxified, were now fully awake.

"Ding! Congratulations to the Host! Reward: 600-fold Preaching Cards!"

Finn grinned. This was too good to be true!

"Ahhh!" A piercing voice cut through his euphoria.

"Master Finn, you..." Stracey curled up, hugging her knees, glaring at him with resentment.

Although Finn had previously taken her into the clouds for some fun, she still felt embarrassed by the current situation. Kalifa, on the other hand, was much calmer.

She had been with Finn long enough to understand his nature. She gave him a sharp look and said, "Young master, what are you doing?"

"Uh, didn't I detoxify you? You were poisoned just now—have you forgotten?" Finn spread his hands with a mischievous grin.

"And what about me? I wasn't poisoned! You healed my wound, but this is too much!" Reiju snapped, hugging her knees and burying her face in her legs, her eyes turning red.

Reiju, despite everything, still valued some things deeply. How could she not be upset by being treated like this, especially when she felt vulnerable?

"You can't blame me for that," Finn said nonchalantly. "You were all poisoned! Your bodies were full of toxins. Do you want me to do more? I had no choice but to purify what I could!"

"Well, hurry up then!" Reiju snapped, her frustration clear.

Kalifa, noticing the awkwardness, asked seriously, "Master, isn't she our hostage? Why are you being so polite to her?"

"Yeah!" Stracey added, voice full of indignation.

Finn shrugged casually, then clapped his hands. "Alright! I'll take her to the cell now!"

With a sudden motion, he slung Reiju over his shoulder and started walking out.

"Hey! Damn bastard, let me go!" Reiju struggled, releasing poison from her hands.

Finn didn't even flinch as he carried her, completely ignoring her attempts to resist.

When they reached the cell, the first thing they encountered was the living room where Ulti was imprisoned.

Seeing someone approach, Ulti rushed to the glass wall, eager for some company after being alone for so long. As soon as she saw Reiju, her eyes widened in shock.

"Wait... what happened to her?!" Ulti gasped, seeing Reiju practically lifeless.

Then, as Finn was about to pass by, Ulti shouted eagerly, "Finn! Let me out! Fight me for three hundred rounds!"

Finn paused, turned back, and approached the glass wall. "Actually, I haven't locked you up; your temper is just too violent. If you hurt my crew, that'd be a big loss, wouldn't it?"

Ulti's heart skipped a beat. "Wait, there's a chance for freedom?" she thought, quickly replying, "No, no! Finn! If you release me, I swear I won't hurt your crew!"

"Are you sure?" Finn asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Of course!" Ulti nodded repeatedly. She had been locked up for months and was desperate for freedom. Anything to get out of this prison.

Finn smiled devilishly and teased, "Alright then, prove it. Call me 'Brother Finn' and I'll believe you."

Ulti clenched her fists in frustration. "Are you serious? You can't even meet this simple request? Fine—Brother Finn!" she grumbled, practically growling.

"Ha! Alright, just wait here. Brother Finn will come back to set you free soon!" Finn laughed in satisfaction and continued walking with Reiju on his shoulder.

As he walked away, a system voice rang in his head.

"Ding! Please choose:

1: Transform yourself from a boy to a man in 1 year. Reward: Become a woman!

2: Transform yourself from a boy to a man in 1 month. Reward: Become a s*****e!

3: Transform yourself from a boy to a man in 1 hour. Reward: Still a man!"

Finn stood there, stunned for over ten seconds.

"What the hell is this? Is this supposed to be a reward? And the options... What even is this?!"

He immediately shouted, "System, are you malfunctioning?"

The system replied calmly, "Host, there is no CPU. System tasks are randomly triggered based on the situation you face."

Finn glanced at Reiju, now lying on his shoulder, and then back at the options.

Could the system really be pushing him toward... Reiju?

After a brief contemplation, he locked Reiju in a cell and turned back toward the deck. He was determined to find out exactly what was going on.
