Boom!
Finn's fist crashed into St. Charles Rose's chest, causing an immediate dent!
"Ugh—!"
St. Charles Rose's eyes bulged, and his mouth moved a few times before he fell silent… dead.
"F**k!" Kizaru yelled, realizing the disaster that just unfolded.
He had originally planned to prevent Finn from killing the Celestial Dragons, but he never anticipated Finn's lightning-fast actions. Within seconds, Finn had already taken down several CPO agents and killed Saint Charles Rose.
The speed of it all left Kizaru with no time to react.
By the time Kizaru realized what had happened, it was too late.
Finn, holding the lifeless Saint Charles Rose, looked at the twisted face of the Celestial Dragon and thought of all the atrocities Charles Rose had committed. His fury boiled over. This was a man who had tried to force himself on Vivi and Rebecca—two girls Finn deeply cared for. And he wasn't the only one. Countless others had been harmed by the likes of Charles Rose.
In that moment, Finn's bottom line was crossed.
Without hesitation, he shouted inwardly, Eight Inner Gates! Open!
The moment he opened the Eight Gates, Finn's aura skyrocketed, and Kizaru felt a deep chill.
What just happened? Why did Finn's power suddenly surge so terrifyingly?
Kizaru, still confused, could feel Finn's presence overwhelm everything else. Finn had become the center of everything, leaving everyone else as mere background noise.
As the Eight Gates fully opened, Finn's power reached its peak. Holding the body of St. Charles Rose, Finn spun around, as if preparing to throw a discus, and with incredible force, hurled the Celestial Dragon into the sky.
Whoosh!
It reminded Kizaru of that time when Lee opened the Sixth Gate in Naruto and threw a kunai at lightning speed—except Finn had gone much further. His throw was so fast it was terrifying.
Whoosh!
In an instant, Saint Charles Rose vanished into the sky, turning into a tiny black dot against the vast expanse of sea and sky.
Ding!
He was gone.
"This power…" Kizaru gasped, stunned.
Even Garp could never have thrown someone that far. Finn, on the other hand, made it look effortless.
Still processing the shock, Kizaru turned just in time to see Finn pick up Ferrero Le Sans, delivering the same punch to the chest and then tossing him into the air with a single, fluid motion.
Whoosh!
Ferrero Le Sans also disappeared, vanishing into the sky.
Kizaru was speechless. What just happened?
His thoughts were interrupted by a sharp order from Sengoku.
"Finn!" Kizaru shouted in alarm. "You bastard! How dare you kill the Celestial Dragon? I'm arresting you in the name of the Marines!"
Whoosh!
Kizaru transformed into a beam of light, closing the distance between himself and Finn in an instant. He whispered in Finn's ear, just loud enough for the two of them to hear: "Master Finn, I'll hit you lightly, and you jump away—let Marine deal with the rest."
Finn raised an eyebrow, understanding the gravity of the situation. The incident had already stirred up a storm, and if it went on any longer, it would be difficult to resolve without his grandfather Garp's intervention.
He smiled and said, "Thanks, Uncle Kizaru."
"Just don't show your face on the seas after this. If anything happens, the Marshal will contact you and let you know what to do," Kizaru warned.
"Wait, Grandpa Sengoku knows about this?" Finn asked, feigning surprise.
Kizaru nodded gravely. "I notified him after you took down the two kings and the CPOs. He doesn't know you killed the Celestial Dragons, though. You've really gone and done it this time…"
As he spoke, Kizaru summoned his Amazono Sword.
A golden lightsaber appeared in his hand, and he swung it at Finn.
"Ouch! That hurts!" Finn shouted in dramatic cooperation, flying backward. Then, with a sudden motion, he activated the particle teleporters.
In the same instant, Finn teleported Vivi, Rebecca, and the others safely away.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh...
White streaks of light shot up into the sky as Finn and his group disappeared.
"Damn it! The criminal who killed the Celestial Dragon, where is he going?!" Kizaru shouted, faking an angry outburst.
Moments later, the Five Elders arrived on the scene.
"What happened here?" the bald elder with the sword asked, eyeing Kizaru with concern.
Kizaru, with a smile that masked his unease, shrugged. "Well, this is what happened…"
Back aboard the super battleship, Sengoku immediately called.
The moment the connection was made, Finn could almost feel Sengoku's anger radiating through the phone.
"Finn!!! You little bastard, what the hell were you thinking?!"
Sengoku's fury was palpable.
Finn, on the other hand, took it in stride. "Grandpa Sengoku, don't get so angry. It's bad for your health."
"Damn it! Do I look like I care about my health right now?!" Sengoku snapped. "You've just ruined any chance of a career in the Marines!"
Sengoku immediately recalled Finn's father, Monkey D. Dragon, the leader of the Revolutionary Army. If Finn followed in his father's footsteps, the consequences could be catastrophic.
Finn laughed. "Grandpa Sengoku, calm down. Look, those two Celestial Dragons were trying to rob me and kill me. They got what they deserved. Am I wrong?"
Sengoku sighed heavily, his anger subsiding for a moment. "No, you're not wrong. But you need to understand, this world has its rules. Killing Celestial Dragons isn't just a crime, it's a declaration of war against the entire world."
Sengoku's tone softened. "Finn, tell me the truth. You've never wanted to be a Marine Marshal, have you?"
"Huh? Grandpa Sengoku, what are you talking about? Of course I want to be the Marine Marshal! You can retire now, and I'll take your place!" Finn replied, eager to state his position.
"But what you've done today is no different from the Revolutionary Army," Sengoku warned.
At that, Finn's eyes widened in understanding. "Oh, I get it now. Grandpa, you're worried about me joining the Revolutionary Army, right?"
"Yes," Sengoku admitted.
Finn reassured him, "Don't worry. My grandfather raised me. My father had no hand in my upbringing. I'm a Marine, and that won't change."
Sengoku felt a slight weight lift off his shoulders. "Okay, Finn. I'll do everything I can to save you. But we need to make a move. You and I will meet with the Five Elders and pledge our loyalty to them. If they trust you, there's still a chance you could take my position as Marine Marshal."
Finn nodded, though inwardly, he knew that bowing to the World Government was a joke.
He spoke calmly, "Grandpa Sengoku, there's something I need to tell you."
"Go ahead," Sengoku said, intrigued.
Finn's voice was steady. "I've made up my mind. I will be the one to eradicate pirates."
Sengoku nodded, approval flickering across his face.
"And the Revolutionary Army," Finn continued, "I'll make sure there won't be a single one left on the seas."
Sengoku smiled, but Finn's next words made his smile freeze.
"And the Celestial Dragons? I'll destroy them too."
The smile on Sengoku's face disappeared completely.
