Finn kicked the carpet away, sending it crashing into the wall.
With a single finger, he unleashed a Finger Pistol, shattering the painting on the wall.
It turned out that these were not ordinary decorations, but rather zombie-like creations, twisted by Moria's dark magic. Typically, salt would be used to defeat them. However, Finn quickly discovered that direct destruction worked just as well.
For example, the painting was destroyed with a simple Finger Pistol, leaving nothing behind but a mess.
The carpet, though kicked into the wall, remained intact. It zipped back toward Finn and Nami, expanding like a net, ready to entangle them both.
Without hesitation, Finn lifted Nami onto his shoulder. His free hand summoned an energy-infused fairy sword, and with a quick swipe, the carpet was shredded into pieces.
A shadow darted out of the tattered carpet and sped toward the castle's exit.
"Damn you! You ruined my toy!" Perona's voice echoed in the distance, furious at the disruption. She floated deeper into the castle.
Finn, undeterred, continued walking as terrifying zombies began to emerge from the shadows. With casual precision, he waved his energy sword, slicing through the creatures and sending their souls scattering.
Meanwhile, Nami, now nearly paralyzed with fear, clung tightly to Finn's shoulder, trembling uncontrollably.
After a long pause, Perona appeared before them.
"Hehe, little brat, why show up in person?" Finn teased, a playful glint in his eyes.
"Hmph! You're a nasty b*****d! I really don't get you! Why are you so fearless? Not a single scare!" Perona crossed her arms, glaring at Finn.
"Could it be… that I'm just too handsome?" Finn winked mischievously at her.
"Hmph! Damn you! Even though I couldn't scare you, don't think you can catch me!" Perona's frustration was palpable, her usual confidence slipping.
Finn smiled, teasing, "Oh? You think I can't catch you? Are you sure about that?"
"Of course! Come and try!" Perona taunted as she floated towards a corridor to the right.
After a few moments, she turned back to see if Finn had followed. "Aren't you coming? Didn't you say you wanted to catch me?"
Finn, still smiling, didn't move. Instead, he walked toward a door straight ahead, pushing it open.
Perona's eyes widened in panic. "What are you doing? Aren't you going after me? Why go that way?"
Ignoring her, Finn continued, heading toward another room.
Perona chased after him, her tone growing more desperate. "Are you scared of me now? Trying to escape, huh? If you want to run, go back to the gate!"
When Finn reached the door of the room, he paused and turned to face her. With a knowing smile, he said, "I'm here to catch you, right?"
With that, he pushed the door open.
Perona's heart skipped a beat. In a flash, she shot through the wall and entered the room before Finn could even step inside.
The room was an odd one, styled in a Gothic Lolita fashion, filled with plush toys and soft furnishings. In the center, a princess-style couch held Perona's body, and as soon as her soul entered, she immediately rushed to occupy it again.
But Finn wasn't far behind. He reached her side just as she re-entered her body and placed a hand on her.
Instantly, chakra energy surged into Perona's body, disrupting her nervous system and causing her to lose control of her movements.
Perona tried to stand but stumbled, her heel turning awkwardly.
"What's going on? Why can't I move?" she exclaimed, panic rising in her voice.
Finn, still calm, smirked. "Don't struggle. You're under my influence now. You won't be able to move normally for a while."
He shrugged nonchalantly. "If you're quick-witted, you might adapt to it, but I doubt you have the mental fortitude for that."
Perona gritted her teeth. "I—why can't I move?"
Finn smiled again. "Like I said, I've disrupted your nervous system. The more you struggle, the worse it gets. But you're too small-minded to overcome it."
"Stop it! What are you doing?" Perona shrieked as Finn reached out toward her.
He grinned, his fingers brushing her hair. "Just curious… I wonder what you'd look like without these." He pulled one of her ponytails loose, letting it fall.
"Stop! Don't touch my hair!" Perona flushed in embarrassment.
Ignoring her protests, Finn tugged at the other ponytail, letting both sides of her hair cascade down.
Perona's frustration peaked. "You're going too far now! Do you think I'll just let you bully me like this?"
Finn's eyes twinkled with mischief as he looked at her. "Well, little princess, since I've got you, I wonder what I should do next…"
He grinned, his gaze dropping to her skirt, a playful yet predatory look in his eyes.
"Ahhh!" Perona screamed, finally breaking down in terror.
"Bingo!" Finn thought, a victorious smile curling on his lips.
Suddenly, a voice rang out in Finn's mind:
