"Why is my mother here?" Charlotte Linlin looked around, confusion in her eyes.
She remembered being killed by Finn, so why was she here again? And who were these people in front of her?
Charlotte Linlin frowned, scanning Orochimaru and the others, and demanded, "Who are you idiots? Where am I?"
Orochimaru and his subordinates bristled at the insult. Ci Langfang, in particular, was quick to retort coldly, "Fat woman, do you not understand your current situation?"
Ci Langfang was fiercely loyal to Orochimaru and had great respect for him. The audacity of this fat woman calling him an idiot, while speaking so condescendingly to everyone as if she were royalty, infuriated him.
Naturally, he insulted her with a cutting remark, but he had no idea that the "fat woman" in front of him was far from ordinary. Charlotte Linlin, a towering figure of power, was not one to be disrespected.
With a swift, powerful motion, she clenched her fist and lunged toward him, her fury igniting.
Ci Langfang, seeing her charge, sneered, "Damn fat woman, how dare you resist!"
He slammed his hands onto the ground, causing a massive stone slab to rise in front of him in defense.
Earth Style: Earth Shore Return!
The earthen barrier was formidable, strong enough to withstand most attacks. Ci Langfang, confident in his defense, felt sure that no ordinary force could break through.
But when Charlotte Linlin's fist struck the earthen wall, the ground shook violently.
Boom!
In an instant, the barrier shattered like glass, and her punch continued, sending Ci Langfang crashing to the ground.
The impact formed a circle of earth and rocks, scattering outward as Langfang was thrown into a deep pit, his body lying motionless.
The shockwave from the punch sent the air rippling, and everyone nearby struggled to maintain their footing. Orochimaru and his subordinates stood in stunned silence, eyes wide with horror.
"Did she just...?" Orochimaru murmured, still processing what had just happened.
Duoyou, one of Orochimaru's followers, quickly jumped into the pit and checked on Ci Langfang. "My lord, he's still breathing," he reported.
After a moment of medical ninjutsu, Orochimaru furrowed his brow. "Why is his physique so different? He should have died from that blow."
Ci Langfang's near-death experience left Orochimaru puzzled. Despite the overwhelming force of the punch, he survived—barely. His body had somehow become far more resilient, stronger than before.
Orochimaru's mind raced. Could it be... this transformation wasn't just happening to Langfang? He checked the others—Kidomaru and Sakin—with his chakra sensing technique. The result was startling.
"Everyone's physiques have improved," Orochimaru muttered, his frown deepening. "This is... unusual."
In that moment, he realized that something greater was at play, something beyond his comprehension. There had been changes in the world. But who—or what—was responsible for this?
Before he could delve deeper into his thoughts, Tayuya, one of his subordinates, jumped onto a nearby tree and raised her flute to her lips.
She played a haunting melody, targeting Charlotte Linlin's mind with a skillful note.
Linlin's face twitched as she felt a sudden dizziness wash over her. Though she wasn't familiar with illusions, she had encountered deceptive abilities before. Understanding this was some kind of mental assault, she instinctively opened her mouth and let out a piercing, otherworldly scream.
Ahhh!!!
The sound wave was so high-pitched it surpassed human hearing limits, resonating like an ultrasonic blast. The air around her seemed to warp as the frequencies assaulted the eardrums of everyone nearby.
Tayuya fell from the tree, stunned by the intense sound. Even Orochimaru, usually calm and calculated, staggered back, his vision blurring as the soundwaves overwhelmed him.
Charlotte Linlin, still furious, locked eyes on Orochimaru. Without hesitation, she raised her fist and brought it crashing toward him.
Orochimaru, dazed from the sonic attack, barely registered the incoming blow. Before he could react, her fist landed squarely on his face with a resounding crash.
Boom!
Orochimaru's summoned beast, the massive serpent Wan Snake, was directly in the path of the strike and absorbed the full force of the punch. The mighty snake was thrown back, blood pouring from its mouth as it collapsed.
Orochimaru, spitting blood and clearly shaken, could only watch as his once-proud summon was crushed under the weight of Linlin's power.
"She's strong...," Orochimaru muttered under his breath. "I've found a treasure here."
Wan Snake, enraged and dazed, understood what had happened. "You used me as a shield!" it hissed, furious.
Orochimaru, unrepentant, shrugged. "You're fine. At least you didn't die. I, on the other hand, might have."
Without a hint of guilt, Orochimaru summoned Wan Snake again, who reluctantly slithered back into place, seemingly grumbling.
