Welcome to the Barlow House

It was a new start, arguably a bad one, but It was a start for Isaac nonetheless. His idiotic father had gambled with all of their money and now they didn't have even a cent in their wallets. They had also lost their house.

"Baby, we are going to stay with your aunty Nila." Isaac's mom said to him as they walked to a house.

It looked like a dumpster. The lawn was overgrown, with someplace cut imperfectly.

'Beggars cannot be the choosers, I guess.' was the only good thing he was able to though about this place.

As they were about to knock on the door a shout came.

"Claire! Put a fucking pant on. Just because your shirt is long doesn't mean you can not wear pants."

Isaac and his mom, Charlotte, exchanged a look of 'What is going on'. Charlotte collected herself and knocked on the door.

"Door!" a boy's shout was heard.

"Not my problem"

"It's your turn assface."

"Someone just look at the door I'm watching over the soup!" an older woman shouted.

And the door was opened. Standing in front of them was a younger-looking boy, probably 7 years old.

"Who the hell are you?"

"Uhm- Your cousin?" Isaac answered not even sure of the answer.

His mother once again took control of the situation"Hello, I'm Charlotte, Nila's sister."

"Cool." the boy said as he walked back to the house.

"You go in. I will stay with a friend."

"What? You didn't say that"

"Isaac your aunt has 7 kids. It will be better If I stay somewhere else and get a job to help her out"

"I hate you. Just when I was about to think you were going to be a good mom you ditch me." Isaac protested. He quickly turned away from his mother and went into the house, slamming the door.

A woman came running out of the kitchen and hugged him"Oh my god look how much you have grown. You must be tired. You can use the shower If you want and then I will show you your room." She patted him on the back and then looked at the two boys sitting on the couch. " Bennet take your cousin's bag to his room and Connor show your cousin the bathroom."

Both of the boys got up and mumbled yes Mom.

"So what's your name?" Connor asked.

"Isaac."

"Connor. Nice to meet you, cousin" Connor responded. "Welcome to the Barlow house." Connor added just before Isaac closed the door.

'I though they would be rude but they aren't that bad.' Isaac though as he took off his clothes. He took the bottle that was writen 'SHAMPOO' in big letters. He put the shampoo above his head and gave a little squeze but nothing came out.

"Mrs. Nila!"

Isaac heard Nila's voice behind the door"Yes honey?"

"There is no shampoo left."

"Grab a towel and put It around your waist then open the door."

Isaac did as he was told.

"Give me the bottle." Nila took the bottle and went to the sink. She opened the shampoos lid and poured some water. She shook the bottle for a minute or so. "As good as new."

'What-?' Isaac was puzzeled. From the moment she took the shampoo to her hand It was like he was an alien. He couldn't understand a single of her actions.

"Explain the rich kid what you did mom." Isaac was suprised by the voice. When Mrs. Nila was doing the shampoo thing someone had snuck behind them. The boy didn't seem much older than him. "He is too rich to know. Oh let me correct myself. He WAS too rich. Welcome to the trash asshole." The boy said as he threw him a can, a can of beer. He was able to catch the bottle.

" Ray! Be nice to your cousin." Nila shouted to the boy. "Let me take that dear." Nila said as she took the can out of Isaac's hand. "Oh by the way you can call me Aunt Nila or just Aunt, no need for Mrs."

"Tell him not to use all the hot water!" a shout came from a girl in the living room.

'This is one weird day.'

"Well since everyone came to dinner let's make some intrudactions. From oldest to the youngest." Nila said.

"Then I start, names Antonio." He looked politer than the other siblings.

"Edina" stated the girl with poorly dyed black hair, as she raised her hand, not taking her eyes off her phone.

"Bethany" she had a small smile on her lips. Out of everyone other than his aunt she was the only one that had such a sweet look of love on her face.

Everyone paused as they waited for the next person. Isaac looked at where everyone had turned their heads and saw the rude boy. Feeling all the eyes on him the boy spoke. "None of your business."

"His name is Ray. He is always so cranky. I'm Connor as you know." Connor winked when his sentence was over. He was definitly the boy that every girl wanted.

"Claire"

"Bennet!" the youngest of the siblings said excidetly.

'I wonder where Aunt Nila's husband is'

"Everyone eat your foods and then go to bed. No staying up late, It's a school night. Oh and Isaac you will also be enrolled to the same school as Ray. He will help you out." Nila said.

Ray quickly responded"Will not."

"You will and everyone knows It! Anyway welcome to the family brother Isaac" said Claire.

The dinner was fun unlike what Isaac was accostemed to. It was filled with laughter and jokes.
