Ch.267 Transplanting the Koryugan

If Uchiha Shinji could've seen the scene at the training ground, he would've understood why Tsunade had eased her focus on Yakumo—because she had shifted all her attention onto Naruto. 

After all, Naruto was the jinchuriki whose existence could determine the village's survival or downfall. 

That evening. 

Shinji first used the "Transformation Jutsu" to conceal his figure and appearance, then donned the red-cloud cloak, put on a mask, and silently made his way to the main residence of the Kurama clan.

Shinji shook his head. 

Yakumo quickly followed up, "Then what are these eyes?" 

To her, the Mangekyo Sharingan was supposed to be the most powerful dojutsu kekkei genkai in the shinobi world. So when she learned these weren't Mangekyo Sharingan, her curiosity surged about these mysterious eyes, whose dojutsu power reached the level of the Mangekyo. 

Shinji explained, "They're called Koryugan! They possess the abilities of transparency, spirit perception, and blood manipulation!" 

"Koryugan!?" 

Yakumo froze for a moment, as she had never heard of such a dojutsu kekkei genkai. 

Noticing her confusion, Shinji didn't elaborate on the Koryugan's origins. He simply instructed, "My understanding of it is limited too, so you'll need to explore these eyes yourself and get to know them!" 

Just then, a voice suddenly exclaimed from within Yakumo's body: "Yakumo, such powerful dojutsu!" 

Shinji and Yakumo both froze. 

Because that voice didn't belong to Yakumo! 

In an instant, Yakumo reacted: "Ido!? H-How can you speak now?" 

Suddenly! 

With a flash of red light in Yakumo's eyes, Ido emerged from Yakumo's inner world, appearing before Shinji in the form of a spirit. 

Shinji's gaze sharpened. 

At that moment, Ido's spiritual form was no longer the vague, ethereal presence it once was. It was now remarkably solid, clearly visible to the naked eye, as if she had used the "Spirit Transformation Jutsu." This meant she could directly launch spiritual attacks on enemies, much like Kato Dan had with the "Spirit Transformation Jutsu" in the past.
